"We had a lovely weekend at this house. The pictures don't do it justice. An absolutely beautiful spot on the river and every thing you could possibly want in the house. And Rich was lovely to work with!"

"The house was a great choice in a lovely town. Easy walk to the Britt Festival amphitheater and the shops, cafes and trails of Jacksonville, an old gold-mining town which contains a National Historic Landmark. There was a medium-sized grocery store two blocks away. The house was well appointed, well stocked and in good repair. It was a good size for my wife and I and two young-adult sons (they shared the main floor bedroom). My one caveat would be that if you rely on wifi, you should bring a mobile hot spot or air card -- the router for the wifi was in a neighboring house and the signal was not strong enough to get a reliable connection."

"Our group of five enjoyed this rustic, comfortable cabin. It was secluded but within a fifteen minute drive into Grant's Pass, 2 hours to Crater Lake and an hour to Oregon Caves. It can accommodate much larger groups--the kitchen is designed to cook large quantities. It would be ideal for a family reunion."

"Maxfields was the perfect place for our mini reunion. The front and back porches were great for hanging out. We were able to gather in the book room to watch the World Cup, another super space! There were 8 adults, so we could sit around the table in the kitchen. Never even ate out because enough room for all our foods! All the spaces were so great for talking and being together! Easy walk downtown. Great to have the washer and dryer! All beds were comfortable and glad to have had fans as it was a very hot week!! We slept in the trundle bed upstairs, and it was excellent. Small room but plenty of places for our clothing. You will have to crawl across the bed to get to the floor. We got free pickleball lessons at the local park. So fun for all of us!! Would recommend it to all!!"
