  • Nice Location, Disappointed by Maintenance Issues

"We enjoyed the Running Y Ranch Resort and this home's location. What a beautiful spot. The golf course was challenging and fun. For the most part, we enjoyed the home: it was clean, well-appointed and the photos are accurate. We enjoyed visiting Ashland, the Lava Bed Monument and Crater Lake! Unfortunately, we had a few snafus -- there was no cable in either the bedroom or the living room. We spent several hours of our vacation time getting cable tv installed by the cable company. Further, we had only tepid water - not hot. When we contacted the Owner, he was rather impatient and suggested we contact a local handyman. We got that resolved as well, with no follow up from the Owner. We were taken aback that the Owner did not bother to make sure we were happy, that the cable was working and that we had hot water. A gracious thank you or accommodation in the deposit was warranted. The master bathroom fixtures (shower and sink handles, etc.) could/should be replaced as they are difficult to manipulate. We replaced a burned out light bulb as well. Nothing fatal, but it is clearly maintained from far away. Bring your own sponge and paper towels."

  • The title was perfect!

"We had planned a retirement party for my husband and had a lot of family coming in from out-of-state for the week-end. Rather than have them all in different rooms in a motel, we wanted them to be able to be together in one place. (We already had a house full at our house). This house was perfect!!! Everyone marveled at the beautiful, peaceful, atmosphere that allowed everyone to be together, but not crowded. Many of us gathered for dinner on Sunday with 22 at the table! Our family is already trying to come up with dates that we could use it again."

  • A Great Opportunity

"I grew up in the Days Creek area and am familiar with Tiller and its amazing beauty. The opportunity to rent my own place right in the backyard of the Rogue-Umpqua Wilderness for a few days was more than I could pass up. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the place, it was great for entertaining and would be ideal for anyone wanting a comfortable base of operations for exploring the natural beauty of the area. Highly recommended! Thanks for everything, Patti!"

  • Gem of a Cottage!!

"We stayed in this adorable cottage for 9 nights. It was beautifully decorated, immaculate, and well-equipped for cooking. We loved spending mornings on the deck sipping coffee and enjoying the landscape. Our hosts were extremely helpful in recommending nearby activities and restaurants. We thought we had planned enough days to explore the area, but as it turned out, we have many more outings to look forward to in future visits. Each afternoon we were excited to return and relax in this wonderful little cottage. It is the perfect place for two, whether you are looking for a special occasion get-away or just a vacation. The area is safe & quiet with gorgeous yard & mountain views. The cottage was even better than we had expected. We give it our highest ratings!!"
