"We had a lovely weekend at this house. The pictures don't do it justice. An absolutely beautiful spot on the river and every thing you could possibly want in the house. And Rich was lovely to work with!"

"Panoramic retreat above the trees. Artistic design/furnishings, immaculately clean, unbeatable location in Ashland. Kitchen is easy to manage, even with a couple of guests for dinner. Quick access to downtown for a free concert on the green before a Shakespeare play, a quick jaunt up to Jacksonville for a Britt concert (seasonal), and more wineries than you can possibly visit. When you feel like taking a little drive, grab a picnic lunch and head east up to Lake of the Woods. The treehouse is the perfect size for two people wanting to get away from it all. Choosing between the two decks was the toughest challenge of our stay. Can't say enough about Marty and Michael - great communication, attention to detail, warm welcome, but all the privacy of being in a mountaintop retreat. If you are planning a trip when we next plan to visit, please disregard this review - we want it all to ourselves!"

"What a beautiful, clean and well-stocked vacation home! Everything you need, private, quiet and definitely a good place for a romantic getaway. My only complaint would be that there were so many rules including that the owners don't want you exploring the property. If you want to bring your horses and ride them on the property, explore the vineyard and the old buildings or hike the advertised 70+ acres- you cannot. However, if you are looking for a romantic getaway in a clean and beautiful home which the owners really do an amazing job of maintaining- this is a great place. And that bath tub is absolutely heavenly."
