"We had a wonderful, quiet stay. Even though the weather went very, very hot down in the town, the cabin stayed comfortable and cool. The cabin itself is a real work of art, hand detail every where; showing incredible care. And the place is very well maintained by a local woman who even brought us a tray of fresh goodies from her garden. It made our anniversary very special to stay here. Thanks."

"My husband and I stayed here for a week. We chose this area for fishing on the Umpqua and the wineries. But the little house was the real treat! Everything we needed and nothing we did not need. Simple, cozy, and perfectly clean. I loved the mix of retro and new appliances and furniture, the bright colors and the peaceful serenity. We ate pears from Rich's trees each day with our wine and cheese on the deck over the river. The fishing was challenging and exciting and good! The location turned out to be a boon - a little more than an hour drive to Crater Lake (take the hike down - it's well worth it - tried to fish but didn't catch anything). A little more than 2 hours drive to Bandon where we ate wonderful fish and chips and chowder at the Bait Shop and watched folks bring in Salmon and Dungeness Crabs. Just 30 minutes to the wineries near Roseburg which were casual and friendly and delicious!"

"We traveled to Medford to visit relatives on an annual trip and the location was perfect, being centrally located to our destination. The unit had everything we needed including a fully stocked kitchen in which to cook, flat screen TV for evening entertainment, comfortable living room seating and a nice, cozy patio to enjoy an evening cocktail. Check in was seamless and when we arrived, everything was perfectly in order. The sleeping accommodations were very comfortable with extra pillows to boot! Our stay was very pleasant and we will definitely keep this one on the list for next year."

"Maxfields was the perfect place for our mini reunion. The front and back porches were great for hanging out. We were able to gather in the book room to watch the World Cup, another super space! There were 8 adults, so we could sit around the table in the kitchen. Never even ate out because enough room for all our foods! All the spaces were so great for talking and being together! Easy walk downtown. Great to have the washer and dryer! All beds were comfortable and glad to have had fans as it was a very hot week!! We slept in the trundle bed upstairs, and it was excellent. Small room but plenty of places for our clothing. You will have to crawl across the bed to get to the floor. We got free pickleball lessons at the local park. So fun for all of us!! Would recommend it to all!!"
