  • Beautiful Views of the Rogue River from any place on the property!!!

"Pictures do not do justice to the actual size of this property. Main house is two stories with plenty of sleeping rooms. Next to the main house is a large studio room with sink, full size fridge and attached two car garage. North end of the property has a wonderful "Tea Room" with bed, and the South end has a screened gazebo with a bed. Any area of the property you are on has magnificent views of the Rogue River with access to the river from the property's own dock that goes down to the water. This property is so big I had to call my wife on her cell phone to find out where she was!! Judy met us at the property when we arrived and gave us an informative tour of the entire property. She was wonderful to do business with. There is lots to sight see in the area with Grants Pass, Medford, Ashland and Jacksonville close by. Have lived in Oregon for over 40+ years, and finally went to "The Oregon Vortex". Definitely worth a stop for the whole family. Will definitely recommend to friends, and look forward to staying again in the future!!"

  • Stunning Details!

"On my recent trip, I was unexpectedly surprised with the peace and tranquility the home. The attention to detail and the beauty of the house is unsurpassed in this enclave of places to rest your weary bones. From the authentic antiques to the hand painted ceilings, to the modern art this is the place to stay in Ashland!"

  • Spacious, Cool, Comfortable, Elegant

"My husband and I spent four nights here while seeing Oregon Shakespeare Festival plays. As others have noted, it's very spacious, immaculate, private, generally quiet, and elegantly appointed; close to parks, a fairly short & pleasant walk to theaters & dining & Lithia Park (cross Hersey for sidewalks & lighting all the way to Oak). The central air conditioning, wi-fi access, and back garden add to the studio's overall comfort and convenience. Sounds of voices & laughter from the adjoining larger house did cause us to require earplugs for sleeping a couple of nights, but it wasn't a big problem."

  • Relaxing weekend at cozy cabin

"Our family of four, including two teenage girls, spent a happy and relaxing weekend at this cozy cabin. It is less rustic than I expected from the description, with an updated kitchen and satellite TV (which I am happy to say we did not use!). The comfy leather couch and recliners were a perfect place to sit and read with the morning sun pouring in the windows before it warmed up enough to move outside to the porch or the garden. During the days, we hiked a stretch of the Pacific Crest Trail and visited Crater Lake, a beautiful 1.5 hour drive to the north. In the evenings, we drove down the hill to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, a bit of a slog but well worth it on both ends. Back at the cabin, the night sky was breathtaking. Thanks also to Randy for his helpfulness in getting my daughter's bassoon back to us when we overlooked it during our last-minute packing up."
