"Had a scrapbooking retreat with a group of 7 women. What a sweet house! It is exactly 3 miles from Highway 62, but seems further out. Once you find it, it's no problem. Better than the photos! Great light, very open floor plan, so makes it very spacious to move around. Has everything (and more) you might need including great Wi-Fi. We are definitely planning on going back, would like to go when we could enjoy the outdoors. Very nice deck area! Wendy was great to work with, thanks Wendy!"Guest: Jane L Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 28, 2014View listing

"You will not be disappointed if you stay here. The cottage is extremely well built and artfully crafted. It is a very inviting atmosphere both inside and out. We stayed here for our honeymoon and loved it. We kept commenting to each other throughout the week how well done the place truly was. We greatly appreciated grilling the free zucchini from the vegetable wagon not to mention the bottle of wine awaiting us! Kudos to Melinda and Steve for constructing this unique little hideaway."Guest: Vince & Alice Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 10, 2014View listing
"A nice little cabin by the river. View of the river from the deck was perfect; it was fall and warm and the place was delightful. The owners had taken care to make things work, but also had lots of touches from the time the cabin was built (late 1930's). These included a hand-cranked coffee grinder, an old-fashioned percolator-type coffee maker, old binoculars to look at the river, etc. We were celebrating my husband's birthday. We also took a drive and a few short hikes to see waterfalls. Be sure to bring your own shampoo and other bath toiletries, soap was provided. (There was no detergent in the kitchen, so we couldn't wash up the coffee pot or the glasses that we used.) We would stay here again."Guest: Señora Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 14, 2014View listing
