  • great option for your stay in beautiful Carlton

"My father and I stayed at this house during our two night visit to Carlton. The house was as advertised, and though we didn't try every feature, everything that we used worked great, including the internet. We would stay here again. A couple of things to note - make sure you bring your own shampoo/conditioner, and if you are an extremely light sleeper, you might want to bring ear plugs as it is on a fairly busy road (as are nearly all of the possible places to stay in Carlton)."

  • Great Place, good location

"My husband and I stayed for a week and really enjoyed the condo. The view is great and it is very quiet. I love to cook and really enjoyed the updated kitchen, pots & pans, casserole dishes, etc. everything I needed to create great meals. If and when we revisit OR, I will certainly consider a stay here again. The owner called me after I reserved the condo and also after we arrived, to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction, and I really enjoyed that personal touch."

  • Couldn't have asked for anything more!

"This cabin was a perfect getaway for a family reunion. Beautiful cabin right on the Willamette River with plenty of sprawling grass surrounding it. The rooms are very large with comfortable beds. The kitchen worked great and is well-stocked with all the basics for cooking. It has a large deck out back with views of the river. It is very clean and well stocked for all your needs. This was the perfect place for four generations to get together for some relaxing, tubing, boating and wading in the river right out back, and PLENTY of grass area for all kinds of outside games and fun...with a deck for sitting and watching all this take place! I kept saying it was a great combination of area for relaxing, activity, visiting, eating and sleeping! The location made us feel like we were secluded in oour own getaway, but the proximity to the convenience of grocery stores and cute downtown Corvallis was awesome. (I recommend the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings!) The age ranges we had there were 5 months to 80 years old and it worked great for babies and great grandparents alike! We just loved our time there! And the property manager, Nate, is a great guy who is very easy to work with and cares well for this lovely home. Enjoy your time there! You'll be thankful you went and undoubtedly will return again !"

  • Even better than expected!

"We stayed here with our family of three as an early birthday getaway for my husband. The fishing in front of the house was so-so, but we heard that the river was about to be stocked so it sounds like we just missed the big ones by a few days. No matter, he still enjoyed being out in the river for hours each day and even helped our six year old land one! The home is clean and well maintained, as are the grounds. The river access was very easy and we waded in the water every day, skipping rocks. (it was unseasonably warm for September!) The owner is understandably concerned about the number of stairs that lead from the house to the various decks and to the river, which is why this listing says "no young children". Don't be put off by that. If you have toddlers this may not be for you, but our six year old had a blast! The stairs are very solid, with appropriate railings. Also note that there are two bedrooms on two floors. So, if you have a kiddo with night-time needs this could be a concern. We met a few of the neighbors during our stay, very nice! The house was also very quiet inside, despite the proximity to the road and bridge. And, there were a lot of games available to play when it got too dark to fish. This weekend was a much needed family getaway and we would not hesitate to return. Many thanks for sharing this great spot!"
