"What an adorable cottage. Immaculate, quiet, and great location. Carole had fruit, creme, and granola in anticipation of breakfast. A lovely touch. We will most definitely return."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 2, 2014View listing
"As we prepare to end a week's stay in this lovely home, all we can say is, THANK YOU Wendy and Larry! Everything about this beautiful abode is A+. We couldn't have asked for a better home base as we prepared to move our son into the U of O. The location is excellent, within walking distance to neighborhood restaurants, Matthew Knight arena and our favorite drive-through/walk up coffee truck, Dutch Bros! The views from the balcony are fantastic, the neighborhood quiet and serene (love the wild turkeys roaming here and there!) and the home itself as comfy as our own. So bright and cheery with the huge living room windows and doors (and access to the fantastic balcony where we sat and enjoyed wonderful sunsets), and the master bedroom is bigger than any luxury suite we've ever experienced! Cooking out on the balcony grill was wonderful and there's not a thing missing in the way of utensils, cookware, etc. If this could be our home away from home for every visit to Eugene, we'd be the happiest parents on earth! Can't recommend highly enough!"Guest: karen g. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 27, 2014View listing
"My parents stayed at the Nifty Thrifty over Thanksgiving this year. They loved the location and the house was very clean and comfortable (and cute!). They ended up staying a few extra days, and we really appreciated Ellen's flexibility with this on such short notice. They had a great time and we highly recommend this vacation rental. We would definitely rent it again. Thank you, Ellen!!"Guest: Anna Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 10, 2014View listing
"The Town & Gown Guesthouse is a beautiful, clean and comfortable rental property. The property is beautifully maintained and very inviting to guests. Ms. Wendt went to great lengths to ensure we were comfortable and pampered. Upon our arrival, there were fresh flowers throughout the home, delicious local chocolates in the guest rooms and an array of tasty local/organic foods to help us settle in. Ms. Wendt thought of everything to help us enjoy our stay. I am very particular about the cleanliness of lodging and usually feel a tad bit uncomfortable, but I had no reservations at the Town & Gown. The entire home was spotless and thoroughly sanitized. The location is great and is walking distance from a wide array of great restaurants and pubs (or a very short drive). I cannot say enough good things about this property! I am looking forward to our next stay at the Town & Gown!"Guest: Tina G. Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 29, 2014View listing
