"If you like listening to birdsong in the morning or watching hawks and herons, then this is the place for you. Salt Creek attracts other wildlife too, deer, beavers and bats. It's a nice walk to a couple local wineries and The Blue Goat, local foodie restaurant. It's a great place to get away and relax. I highly recommend it for the city weary."

"Took my wife here for a birthday getaway! We loved that we had no responsibilities and could just lounge on the deck every morning drinking coffee, admiring nature and over looking the roaring McKenzie River. The accommodations were great and we slept most of the day and night! The soothing sounds of rushing waters made our trip memorable!"

"Can't beat waking up on the Mckenzie River and hearing the water rush by outside your door. The cabin is older but in excellent condition. We enjoyed our stay and will be back to fully enjoy all that this area has to offer. John was great to work with and accommodated us with a last minute booking and arrival. Thanks again!"

"We really had a great stay. The home was very clean, and Pam is very accommodating. This was our first time staying in a home, and we really liked it a lot. It was nice to have more rooms than just one, as is usual for hotel stays. Loved seeing all the animals. And, we could go across the street to a really nice path and walk along the McKenzie River."
