  • Wonderful!

"The house we stayed in was perfect for us, and I want to thank our host for such wonderful hospitality. All I can really say is that if you are looking for a home to stay in instead of a hotel...this house is perfect. Everything that we needed was there. And we did meet the owners and they were very kind and had great suggestions for things to do while in Eugene. I would highly recommend this home."

  • AWESOME location and ammenities

"My husband and I offered to cook rehearsal dinner for 20, and the wedding dinner for 100, to sew the vests and ties for the groomsmen, as well as host the bride / bridal party; groom / groomsmen the morning of the wedding, and needed to be close enough to Champoeg Park for all the other wedding necessities... this meant we needed to find a place to do so. Debbie was great with information in the booking, we were excited about the place, however upon our arrival our hopes skyrocketed to AWESOME, my husband who brings all his pots, pans, knives, serving trays for these types of events was over the moon when he saw the kitchen, the additional folding tables made prep work easier. The office / guest bedroom (Den) made sewing projects easy, the hot tub at the beginning and ending of each day made us forget we were doing all this work. The Hot Air balloons in the morning outside the kitchen window was a bonus, the basketball court was a hit with the groomsmen, as the master suite was with the bridal party. Great sound system in the living room, great fire pit area for marshmallow roasting, wedding site for small group, which we may be able to put to use next year, for the other brother, so many great things about this home we RECOMMEND for all...We plan to return when we can visit the area, as it has so much to offer. THANK YOU Debbie"

  • Perfect end to Summer...

"Just wrapped up a week of perfect weather, perfect fishing and first and foremost all in a perfect setting! Couldn't ask for more, the location is one of the best, the house layout works well for everyone in the family, one floor, master suite large and welcoming etc. Easy to get around for the older folks and our blind Basset Hound. Kitchen has everything we need and the new grill/smoker is even bigger than the Traeger it replaced! If it sounds like we have been here before, we have (several times) and hopefully will be back many, many more! It get's harder every time to write something different.. We did have a "flock" of Turkeys visit us one morning, that was a first!! Caught lots of trout, lost two Steelhead, one on my new Spey rod (have to blame something). The sunsets were amazing and the full moon was something to behold! I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.... Now back at work basking in the glow of memories... Thank you yet once again Charles and family for sharing this special place!"

  • Oregon Adventure

"Thank you for sharing your house with us as we were introduced to the splendor of Oregon. The house was a perfect "home base" for us as we rested between trips to wineries, Crater Lake, and the beautiful Oregon coast. Isn't it funny how catching a fish can turn a grown man into a giddy child again? And we observed that repeated many times, so there will be no need to make up fish stories to share. Your instructions and suggestions offered were very helpful. We will pack our music DVD's next trip - had to sing our own James Taylor music, but the birds (and fish) didn't seem to mind too much! We will remember this trip with pleasure and appreciate your hospitality."
