  • McKenzie River Honeymoon

"For our honeymoon, my wife and I decided to stay 5 nights at the McKenzie River and we couldn't have been happier with our decision! The small red barn/cottage was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay. During the day our view of the river was fabulous while at night we laid out on the hammock and watched the stars. I honestly don't remember the stars shimmering as brightly as they did there. The owners Tom and Priscilla were friendly and welcomed us with open arms. Our time there was memorable and unforgettable! Thank you Tom and Priscilla for allowing us to spend our week there at your Red Cottage! We miss pulling into the driveway to see that Red Cottage welcoming us home! Hope to see you again! - David & Alisha"

  • 50th birthday weekend

"We had such a great time in the lodge! All 12 of us women to celebrate our baby sister's 50th birthday. Jean was wonderful and couldn't have been more accommodating. The house was nicely furnished with everything we need and plenty of space. But still had such a cozy feel to it. We all loved it and wished we could have stayed longer. My only request would be to change the lighting in the kitchen to make it brighter without having to turn the fan on. Plenty of glassware, dishes and pots and pans. The view and outdoor seating was fabulous! Hope to go again sometime. So close to Eugene too! Loved it! ALSO: It was very clean!!"

  • Wonderful Christmas

"What a wonderful place to celebrate the holidays with our family. Christmas eve with a roaring fire in the beautiful fireplace...perfect! Great location, a beautiful view of the McKenzie River and we even saw Elk grazing across the river. The house is large, clean, and well maintained with ample ammenities. The owner is a pleasure to work with, very kind, knowledgable of the area and witty too:) We hope to go there again this summer so my husband can fish and I can spoil our little granddaughters."

  • A Gorgeous Oasis

"We had a bit of trouble finding the place, but we drove in at night and in the rain. The owner was available by phone and super helpful! Once we arrived we didn't want to leave. The home is very well appointed, comfortable and beautiful. Of course, the sound of the rushing river not 50 feet away and the unbelievable hot spring tub, made for a romantic weekend not to be forgotten."
