"We had such a great time in the lodge! All 12 of us women to celebrate our baby sister's 50th birthday. Jean was wonderful and couldn't have been more accommodating. The house was nicely furnished with everything we need and plenty of space. But still had such a cozy feel to it. We all loved it and wished we could have stayed longer. My only request would be to change the lighting in the kitchen to make it brighter without having to turn the fan on. Plenty of glassware, dishes and pots and pans. The view and outdoor seating was fabulous! Hope to go again sometime. So close to Eugene too! Loved it! ALSO: It was very clean!!"Guest: Vypies Date of Stay: September 2013 Review Submitted: October 13, 2013View listing
"Beautiful accomodations in a peaceful location with the McKenzie River just feet from the huge screen porch. Entire cabin is finished entirely in knotty pine with exceptional carpentery skills. Huge stone fireplace and the 20 foot ceiling in the front room gave me the feeling of a much larger mountain lodge. Beautiful tile work and hardwood floors. My bed had the most comfortable tempurpedic mattress. Every modern convienence. This is the higher end of cabins. Close to restaurants, Hot Springs, ski areas… Would highly recommend to all. I wish I could've stayed another week or two."Guest: M. Madden Date of Stay: October 2013 Review Submitted: October 15, 2013View listing
"For our honeymoon, my wife and I decided to stay 5 nights at the McKenzie River and we couldn't have been happier with our decision! The small red barn/cottage was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay. During the day our view of the river was fabulous while at night we laid out on the hammock and watched the stars. I honestly don't remember the stars shimmering as brightly as they did there. The owners Tom and Priscilla were friendly and welcomed us with open arms. Our time there was memorable and unforgettable! Thank you Tom and Priscilla for allowing us to spend our week there at your Red Cottage! We miss pulling into the driveway to see that Red Cottage welcoming us home! Hope to see you again! - David & Alisha"Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 24, 2014View listing
"The cabin is absolutely beautiful. It is secluded and quiet and very clean. My only complaint would be there was no internet service as advertised."Guest: Tracy D. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 18, 2014View listing
