"Awesome location, just a few short blocks from the adorable downtown main street. Cute, comfortable house with necessary amenities (sheets, towels, washer/dryer, hairdryer) plus a few bonus amenities (coffee maker, coffee, sugar, snacks, wine). Our group consisted of one married couple and three single girls, upper 20s through mid 30s. With use of the pull-out couch, we all slept comfortably. Shower coordination was necessary with only one bathroom connecting the two bedrooms, but we managed just fine. We were traveling for a friend's wedding which was hosted on a vineyard about 15 miles from the house. We also enjoyed a winery tour in Newberg and Dundee one day of our visit with travel service pickup and drop-off at the house (Aspen Tour & Limo, they were great!). The location proved to be great for both the wine tour and wedding. After the wine tour we walked to dinner at La Rambla (Spanish tapas, fabulous!) just a few blocks away and the morning and afternoon before the wedding we piddled around downtown McMinnville enjoying the restaurants and stores. The people I dealt with after booking the house were extremely helpful and accommodating. Weather was unseasonably hot (highs of low to mid 90s) during our stay so the house was got a bit warm during the day, but cooled off more than adequately at night. Road noise was audible, but did not bother us! Some of the bath and kitchen towels need to be replaced as they are carrying a moldy smell with them, but that would be our only real complaint. Otherwise, we were all very satisfied with the accommodations!"

"As usual, my stay at the Cottage was relaxing, comfortable and quiet. I love the fact that we are made to feel like we are visiting family, yet have our own space. My college sophomore son had a presentation to write and came over. He worked on his laptop in the backyard while I enjoyed the 85 degree weather. The only sounds on this amazing Saturday afternoon came from the birds. We both left for dinner feeling refreshed and accomplished. The proximity to stores and shops on 3rd Street is a nice walk."

"This is a beautiful place, I would rate it 10+ stars! Don and Jean are wonderful hosts and really do think of everything. The cabin is beautifully appointed, their taste impecable. We loved coming home each night to relax and enjoy the panoramic view of their lovely property. The Oregon wine country is a very welcoming place and fun to explore. Don and Jean made a wonderful destination even more special. We will be returning as soon as possible!"

"We stayed here with our best friends and it was the best place to stay in town! The place was huge and so inviting. Located right in downtown and sits above an amazing restaurant that brings you food upstairs. Extremely private, quiet and a true retreat."
