  • Wine touring in McMinnville

"This was a cozy, comfortable place to stay. It was clean, roomy, and had all the amenities we extra cost for what is usually wifi with lousy reception. There is a fully-fenced backyard for sunny weather and both front porch and back deck are just one step. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, and there are some great wineries in the surrounding area. Should I return to the town, this would be my first pick!"

"Our family came to Oregon to tour colleges. The photos online are very inviting. BUT when you walk into the loft, its INCREDIBLE!!!! The owner did not miss a detail remodeling this place. We felt comfortable from the Entrance. The loft is fully stocked with anything you might need from home. The Cute /Old town of Mcminnville is centrally located and has all kinds of unique shops and stores. We drove to the coast in 1 hour, visited Pacific City (haystack rock), then went farther up the coast to Tillamook Cheese Farm which was Amazing !! The colleges we toured were within 1 hour of the loft. Oregon is GORGEOUS, and The owner of this loft was truly accommodating at a moments notice. We would recommend this loft to ANYONE visiting NW Portland area.WE LOVED IT !! We cant wait to visit again"

  • A slice of heaven in the Willamette Valley.

"Sally and Ron offer the gold standard for VRBO. The pictures of the apartment are lovely, but it is so much more than that. The grounds are lush, private, and bucolic. The apartment itself is even better than the pictures and more private than I could have imagined. Sally provides an embarrassment of riches for your breakfast as well as a bottle of wine and a smile. I am only sorry that we were there when the weather was a bit chilly to fully enjoy the grounds. We will definitely return to enjoy the deck and the treehouse in warmer weather. If you are in the area to explore the Willamette Valley wine country, I cannot imagine an easier or better location, with some of the best wineries in the region within minutes. Oh! And the windows, the laundry, the rocking chair… I almost hate to let the secret out!"

  • Perfect!

"The cute cottage was perfect for walking to downtown and driving to wineries. The neighborhood was peaceful, the yard and garden were beautiful. We had a wonderful, relaxing evening sitting in the backyard. We had mixed up the dates for our arrival and were so embarrassed, but Connie was gracious, helpful, and understanding. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we could need. We enjoyed the Thistle restaurant one night and Nick's the next and recommend them both. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay while visiting your child at Linfield, exploring the McMinnville area, or learning about all the fun wineries in the region, this is the place to stay!"
