"This home was chosen for its location and amenities. It hosted 9 ladies wonderfully. We were disappointed that the weather was not optimal to enjoy the beautiful backyard! Although that allowed us to enjoy the wonderful fireplace. The owner was very prompted in responding back when trying to figure out a few things before our visit."

"I have driven by these cabins many times, and was excited to finally stay in one! It was a lovely experience, and I only wish we could have stayed longer. Although the cabin is right off the main road, there isn't much traffic after dark, and the sound of the river rushing by is very loud, covering up all but the biggest trucks. The fireplace was easy to use, the bed was comfortable, and although we didn't make use of it, it seems that the kitchen was well stocked. The decor was country cabin themed, some of the stuff is a little hokey, but everything was comfortable enough to make up for it. My only problem was finding the instructions for getting into the cabin; they were supposedly sent with the initial acceptance of our reservation, but I was not able to find them, and had quite a bit of trouble with the VRBO app trying to find the necessary check in info, or a number to call. Make sure to flag them when they first come, because they will not be easy to find again!"

"This house was awesome! We had a girls trip getaway with women flying in from San Diego and women driving in from Grants Pass. Rhea was very accommodating to our check in/out time based on our travel schedule. This was super helpful, as I'm sure you can imagine the amount of luggage we all had. Rhea was quick to respond to any questions I had and there was clear instructions printed/emailed, which helped with many of the answers.
THE HOUSE ITSELF:
3 full beds and an extra room where a blow up mattress can easily fit. The beds were comfortable and we easily had enough room. The huge wrap around porch is awesome, kitchen was great, etc. My only complaints about the house where 1) there's only one bathroom-- not an easy fix, but with so many girls we were aware of it 2) there are only two mirrors in the house-- it made getting ready a bit challenging, but wasn't a huge deal 3) there were some fruit flies. I THINK the previous renters hadn't taken out the big trash bins in the basement, as directed. Other than that the house was amazing. Some areas were a bit creaky, but that just adds character. We were very happy with it.
The location is pretty ideal. Alberta street was really fun and full of character. It's about a 5 minute, or less, walk from the Main Street. There are lots of cute boutiques, good coffee shops (my favorite were Barista and Case Study), bars, and restaurants (Tin Shed Garden Cafe, Hot Lips Pizza, Salt & Straw, Pok Pok and Ville Velo Bake Shop). It's about a $15 uber ride from the airport and from downtown during non peak hours. It was nice to have a car, but definitely not necessary.
Overall, our stay was wonderful, we can't wait to come back to Portland again! I would definitely recommend this house to anyone :)"

"Loved this location in Portland and the apartment was lovely. Very well maintained with the history of an old home but beautiful, clean and comfortable. The parking space was helpful as well as we took many day trips. The owner, Ed, gave us a little orientation and was also very helpful in recommending local places for food and activities"
