"We had a fantastic time in this home. There are so many decorations from world travels and old books to enjoy, even a box of photos The deck was delightful. We loved the living room. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in and well stocked. We felt like we walked into grandma's house from the Victorian era, but with all the modern updates. We brought 83 year old grandma with us and she loved it. It reminded her of the Craftsman house she grew up in. There are alot of stairs so we were glad our grandma has good knees. I hope we get a chance to use this home again. We had grandma, my husband and I and 3 adult children so the 3 bedrooms worked great. Would recommend to friends! The water pressure was ok and stair lighting was not great but it is an old house."

"My second stay at the condo was just as perfect as the first. This place is going to be my first choice on every visit to Portland. James makes the process so easy and efficient. He takes great care of the place. It's clean. Everything you need is provided. The bed is very comfortable. The location is tops -- right on the river. Sit on the patio and watch the freighters unload their cargo and speed boats zip by. A very brief walk to The Pearl and downtown. I didn't even need a car though a parking space is provided. Some reviews mentioned the sound of the freight train across the river as objectionable. I am an insomniac and I actually found it gentle and soothing. And more importantly, not once, even on warm August nights, did I hear 'people' noises. I slept really well. Enjoy your stay in perfect comfort at this condo."

"This house was awesome! We had a girls trip getaway with women flying in from San Diego and women driving in from Grants Pass. Rhea was very accommodating to our check in/out time based on our travel schedule. This was super helpful, as I'm sure you can imagine the amount of luggage we all had. Rhea was quick to respond to any questions I had and there was clear instructions printed/emailed, which helped with many of the answers.
THE HOUSE ITSELF:
3 full beds and an extra room where a blow up mattress can easily fit. The beds were comfortable and we easily had enough room. The huge wrap around porch is awesome, kitchen was great, etc. My only complaints about the house where 1) there's only one bathroom-- not an easy fix, but with so many girls we were aware of it 2) there are only two mirrors in the house-- it made getting ready a bit challenging, but wasn't a huge deal 3) there were some fruit flies. I THINK the previous renters hadn't taken out the big trash bins in the basement, as directed. Other than that the house was amazing. Some areas were a bit creaky, but that just adds character. We were very happy with it.
The location is pretty ideal. Alberta street was really fun and full of character. It's about a 5 minute, or less, walk from the Main Street. There are lots of cute boutiques, good coffee shops (my favorite were Barista and Case Study), bars, and restaurants (Tin Shed Garden Cafe, Hot Lips Pizza, Salt & Straw, Pok Pok and Ville Velo Bake Shop). It's about a $15 uber ride from the airport and from downtown during non peak hours. It was nice to have a car, but definitely not necessary.
Overall, our stay was wonderful, we can't wait to come back to Portland again! I would definitely recommend this house to anyone :)"
