"My long distance fiancée and I were looking for a nice, quiet getaway and we found it! Away from busy city life, this cabin has everything you could want to facilitate quality time with loved ones, or to simy getaway for a minute.
We had never visited hot springs before and decided to give Breitenbush a shot. You have to register in advance for day use, but we both highly recommend it. Clothing is definitely nonexistent in the soaking areas, but it also is 0% weird. Everyone is very respectful and polite and we loved being to relax with NOTHING on our minds for a few hours.
We enjoyed home cooked dinner made in the cabin with the provided dishes and relaxing with the sound system they have. The jacuzzi is essentially private with views of Detroit and woods / mountains. It's very nice. We also loved that they provided a few board games to play as well!
The Cedar restaurant in town has great breakfast. There is also abundant hiking around that we, unfortunately, we not able to enjoy as my flight information had to change suddenly.
This cabin is great and has tons of amenities. We would recommend this for a small family getaway or a retreat for those who want to spend quality time with those their with. We are definitely looking forward to coming back and enjoying a break from busy life soon!"

"We stayed here with our family of three as an early birthday getaway for my husband. The fishing in front of the house was so-so, but we heard that the river was about to be stocked so it sounds like we just missed the big ones by a few days. No matter, he still enjoyed being out in the river for hours each day and even helped our six year old land one! The home is clean and well maintained, as are the grounds. The river access was very easy and we waded in the water every day, skipping rocks. (it was unseasonably warm for September!)
The owner is understandably concerned about the number of stairs that lead from the house to the various decks and to the river, which is why this listing says "no young children". Don't be put off by that. If you have toddlers this may not be for you, but our six year old had a blast! The stairs are very solid, with appropriate railings. Also note that there are two bedrooms on two floors. So, if you have a kiddo with night-time needs this could be a concern.
We met a few of the neighbors during our stay, very nice! The house was also very quiet inside, despite the proximity to the road and bridge. And, there were a lot of games available to play when it got too dark to fish.
This weekend was a much needed family getaway and we would not hesitate to return. Many thanks for sharing this great spot!"

"The cute cottage was perfect for walking to downtown and driving to wineries. The neighborhood was peaceful, the yard and garden were beautiful. We had a wonderful, relaxing evening sitting in the backyard. We had mixed up the dates for our arrival and were so embarrassed, but Connie was gracious, helpful, and understanding. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we could need. We enjoyed the Thistle restaurant one night and Nick's the next and recommend them both. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay while visiting your child at Linfield, exploring the McMinnville area, or learning about all the fun wineries in the region, this is the place to stay!"

"Spacious, quiet location on the island, not far out of town. Very nicely equipped with everything you'd need for 3 days or an extended stay. We certainly enjoyed our two week/Christmas and New Year holiday vacation at the country suite (& would definitely make reservations another year).
Our son & family live in SE Corvallis, so it was perfect for us."
