HOME AWAY FROM HOME
"This was our 2nd year at the Rillerah and we're going to make it an annual event. This is a reunion of the men of our family: myself, my 2 brothers, and my dad who is a very healthy 90. We all went on nearby hikes and the brothers would catch their limit of trout daily. The best part was eating those trout while enjoying the amazing river view through the picture window as rafters went waving by. Late afternoons on the porch very relaxing as the day winds down, the last of the rafters roll by, and the tales of the days great fishing adventures begin. The house itself has every thing we or most anyone could want. The local market was a short walk away to get the morning paper, any needed items, and a refreshing ice cream cone after an afternoons hike. Already looking forward to next years get together at our home away from home."

"OUTSTANDING place to stay. Clearly designed by a golfer, with golfer's "needs" in mind. Plenty of room, fine craftsmanship throughout, convenient, TVs everywhere, great kitchen (since we all want to cook a lot while on a golf trip -- actually, we did one night!), great back patio and deck and putting green .... can't say enough about it. And somehow Rick managed to dial in perfect weather for us in early October. I don't know how he does it, but he is appreciated. Hope to come back sometime soon."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Quelah 8! The place had all the amenities one would need to make their stay there complete. We loved having bikes to use though they could use some servicing; loved the bunkbeds though that room got very hot at night after the heat off the day...nice a fan was provided. Kitchen was well-stocked though I couldn't find oven mitts or another kitchen garbage bag? Luckily I oddly had one in my stash of things! Televisions were great as was the free wifi and pool access! Pac'N Play was very helpful to have and much appreciated but pretty outdated and heavy. Had I known this, I would have brought my own. Same for the bikes (needing service). Also, a tea kettle might be something to consider for non-coffee drinkers. Overall, we really liked the place; it's locale to the pool, and the grassy area off of the porch were definite pluses too! Our kids had a blast as did we! We hope to rent it again!"

"This was my third stay, second with Chateau and the other was another of this owner's properties. Joan and Eric are great hosts who are always available to assist with any issues. This time I brought my boyfriend and we enjoyed a romantic stay at Chateau and enjoyed the hot tub as well and being so close to the beach. The beach is only a block and a half walking distance. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and not being in a noisy hotel or motel during this time. There was some noise downstairs from folks staying below but we were able to work this out with the neighbors who turned out to be fine people. This is a great place for a vacation and most relaxing. We will continue to return and don't want to wait to long to come back.
It feels like every need is being catered to and Joan and Eric do not forget anything that is necessary. We highly recommend this property.
Thanks so much for your hospitality!!!!"
