  • Awesome Girly Weekend Getaway!

"My sister-in-law and I stayed at Country View Cottage for the weekend and had a great time. The outside of the cottage doesn't prepare you for the beautifully decorated inside! Very modern with granite counters in the kitchen, comfy couch and loveseat in the living room and very comfortable beds! I had read that the pillows left something to be desired and was disappointed when I found that I had forgotten to bring mine, but found that the pillows were great! The only drawback for us was that we rented a movie when we were in town and got back to find that there wasn't a DVD player...we found a suitable chick flick on cable and were good to go with the lovely bottle of wine that the owners so generously left as a welcome gift! I've stayed in a lot of VRBO places, and this is a first! Very nice touch indeed! The weather was great, the view was great, we played Bocci Ball across the street and had an amazing time eating and shopping in both Carlton and McMinnville. We would both highly recommend Country View Cottage and already plan to make this a yearly destination for our girly weekend getaway! This place is super clean to boot...a high priority for me! Thanks for making our stay wonderful and relaxing!"

  • Excellent Women's Retreat

"The lodge was great. The kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows to keep everyone comfy. The wood supply was only enough for one night when we arrived, but by late the next morning we had a wood delivery that was more than enough for our entire stay. The sleeping loft was a little intimidating to get to for many of our women, slippery steps in socks for late night bathroom visits, so keep that in mind if you have a majority of older guests. But it is a lovely loft and we all truly enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave."

  • Wonderful Stay Great Location

"We really enjoyed this charming cottage. The location was excellent for exploring wine country. We walked to Henry's down the street for breakfast every morning although the kitchen was beautiful and well-equipped. Just down the street is Milo's for ice cream, The Radish for cocktails and watching football and The Republic of Jam for delicious tastings and perfect holiday gifts to bring home."

  • Clean, Quiet & Comfortable!

"My husband and I enjoyed our two night stay at the cottage. It was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. Downtown McMinnville was a quick 5-minute walk and we loved eating at Community Plate and Crescent Cafe for breakfast. The rooftop at Hotel Oregon was cool, too. I'd definitely recommend staying here!"
