"My boyfriend and I traveled from Columbus, OH to Oregon without any definite plans of where we were going to stay and when. I found this house on VRBO and decided to give it a shot based on the location. We wanted to be close to the mountains, but not so far from Portland that we'd have to drive forever to get back to the airport. The owner, Cindy, was incredibly quick and helpful with her email responses, and got us in quickly. The house is located right on the river, just as depicted in the photos, and is even more beautiful in person. It was much larger than we expected, and for the price was a great deal. It's location allows for peace and privacy, yet is not so far off the beaten path that you have to travel very far from the nearest highway. The house was STOCKED. Pretty much anything and everything you could ask for was supplied. There were beach towels, dvds, and even a basement practically full of board games. This would be a great place for a family to stay for a few nights! The house was incredibly clean and well decorated. Cindy even supplied a little binder with information on what to do and see in the area. We went and hiked at Opal Creek, which was gorgeous! Thanks again for everything. We had such a good time."Guest: Allison Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 4, 2014View listing
"My brother, sister-in-law and their three daughters (all under age 9) loved the farm. They enjoyed getting to play with the chickens, alpacas, and little tiny dogs Pam owns. Pam is a friendly and kind person who they enjoyed talking to and learning from. Their only disappointment was that they did not get eggs each morning as they expected to get, but it was during the holidays and I believe Pam was out of town. They will definitely stay there again should they need a place when they come to visit Eugene next time!"Guest: Ida Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 2, 2014View listing
"This house was the perfect fit for me and my grands!!! Walking distance to a great fishing spot and swimming spot, also a nice walk into town!!! The adults loved the fact that the kids had their own room and the basement play area!! Enjoyed a nice camp fire each night. Definitely planning on staying again!!!"Guest: Grammy Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 27, 2014View listing
