"This house is a very large but still feels cozy. There were 7 adults and we had plenty of space for privacy as well as a variety of gathering places. The kitchen wins the 'best of VBRO' we've ever had! We like to cook and the kitchen was well equipped. It's a nice perk that the owners have their cooking spices available for guests. It really felt as if we were staying in a friend's very nice home. The only drawback was that there isn't cell service. A landline is available and there is wifi but we are all so used to cell phones that we missed having a connection. Other than that, it's absolutely perfect!"

"We would recommend this nice townhouse. Very comfortable for 4 people! Our Grandkids loved the pools, bike trails and the blow up mattresses! Close to Redmond and not a bad drive to Bend to golf or shop! Lots to do in the area. We stayed a month! The owners were very good to work with and answered all questions"

"We stayed at the Condo for 5 days. The view is fantastic. Beds were comfortable. A couple of down sides were the ice maker was not functiong so we had to use ice trays to make ice. The first day we went grocery shopping after planning our meals. We later learned the oven did not work. The on site maintence guy showed up promptly but had no answers. He did offer his oven which was really sweet. Otherwise the kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals. The pool is in kind of a dark place, no windows. Access to the beach is just a short walk down the street. I would stay here again, if the oven is functioning. We had a lot of food we intended to make in oven. We just gave it to neighbors when we checked out. Overall a beautiful Condo."

"We were in the Corvallis area for a week, for our daughter’s wedding, as were quite a few friends and family. Because we had found such a unique get-away, and because the Riverhaus owners are so kind and accommodating, we were able to invite other wedding guests for visiting, a ride on the swing, picking blackberries, wading in the river, and dinner for 12 on the deck. We had the use of the whole property, and Kathy and Gregg made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. I appreciated the space and freedom to be ourselves.
Riverhaus is a converted barn with an unusual and interesting history. The apartment is beautifully decorated, and the kitchen equipped with everything a traveler could want. It was very hot the week we were there, but there were several fans and we were not ever uncomfortable.
It was fantastic to be on the river. The apartment has a great view of the water. A lot of birds were also loving the water; we saw a great blue heron, an osprey, a small flock of mergansers, and a bald eagle.
The drive to Corvallis is quick and pretty, with no traffic. There is a farmer’s market within a few miles; it was selling some of the best corn on the cob I’ve ever eaten. I hope we get to return, maybe in other seasons to see what the river is like then."
