  • Charming Country Home

"Completely as described in the listing, the cozy house is part of a farm. Liza was available (next door) to answer questions, but we had complete privacy. All pots, pans, utensils, and baking needs were found in the kitchen, which is a rarity in my experience with vacation rentals. Got the impression it was an old house but nicely and completely renovated within the past 10 years. All appliances and bathrooms were modern and working perfect. I'm not usually a fan of country decor, but this was more authentic looking, with lots of browns, rusty reds, and faded blues. Not kitchy or cute. Husband is a history buff, so very much enjoyed nearby Fort Bedford Museum and the recreated old village. Ate out most lunches and some dinners, and the Jean Something Tavern west of Bedford on Rt 30 was our favorite. I enjoyed the antiques in town and coverlet museum. The 2 state parks were great, too. There are several (20?) picturesque covered bridges in the area, and one was an easy walk from the home. There are 2 great summer ice cream places on the main road -- the cow and the igloo. Would recommend this to a friend who wanted a fairly low-key vacation with plenty of time to relax."

  • Unplug, unwind and reconnect here!

"Woodland Waters was all that we were hoping for and more. My family loved fishing, canoeing, sitting around the fire eating s'mores, playing cards and driving around the lovely country side exploring. The town of Bedford is just adorable and we enjoyed walking around, doing some antique shopping and visiting the Farmers Market on Wed. The best part though was really being 'unplugged' at the house...there was little to no cell service so our phones were quiet and we even were without wifi for a couple days due to a storm outage, but that was ok with us...it really made a difference to see the kids interacting and hanging out without their noses buried in their devices. It was nice to see when the wifi did return, they didnt' really use it much. The house itself had everything we needed and was very comfortable and clean. We'd highly recommend this place for families w/kids and pets too! Our dogs loved the water and walking down the lane with me a few times a day! The owner Bruce was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Very prompt, professional and friendly. All in all, a wonderful getaway for me and my famiily...worth every penny!"

  • WONDERFUL STAY!

"We spent 3 days at Blossom Hill Farm having a mini reunion. Blossom Hill Farm is just perfect for a family getaway. The house was clean and the accommodations were even better than the photos! The grandkids had the best time playing on the lawn and seeing chickens, cows and other animals just meandering along. It was all just magical!"

  • Whats Not To Love About This Place?!

"Took a large group here for a weekend retreat out of the big city. I have to say, the place exceeded our expectations! Not only was it very clean, quiet and secluded, but you have loads of fun activities available without ever having to leave your backyard. Large fire pit, horseshoes, croquet, Volleyball court (with lights),homemade water slide (way too fun!), hiking trails....Do I need to go on?! The house was well stocked and the price is impossible to beat. Simply put, if you are looking for a quiet and affordable place away from it all that will also keep you entertained for days, this is it! Thanks Judy and Ken!"
