  • Beautiful Serene Vacation

"My sister and I along with our three kids all enjoyed a beautiful 11 nights and day at this beautiful serene home. We enjoyed the panoramic views/ the farm animals and wild life/ the quietness with the sound of the relaxing stream. A magical show of lighting bugs everywhere that made it look like a show of fairies. We enjoyed the National Parks that were VERY close by. The Supermarket and town is also less than 15 minutes away. The sheeps entertained us with all their different pitches and they say much more than BAAAA. Three beautiful horses galloped everyday for are view right across the porch which had such beautiful breezes....the early mist that makes the mountains look even higher and we also got to enjoy a double rainbow that went above the house. There is just soooooo much to say on how much we LOVED this location and when I got to meet Barb she greeted me with a friendly and welcoming hug as well as delicious truffles. The girls did not want to leave and on the day it left it was a gloomy day which matched our emotions on having to depart from this serene haven. The only thing I would mention is that locks would be great in the bedrooms and bathroom. And I shade in the entrance door but besides that the beds are HUGE where I needed a step to climb onto and felt wonderful."

  • So Nice!

"What a great alternative place to stay at instead of the cabins at Knoebels campground. For the same amount of money you get your own full bathroom, fully functioning kitchen (including a crock-pot!), firewood, canoe/rafts and privacy. I would highly recommend staying here (even though I'd rather keep it a secret). You will need charcoal for the grille, and maybe a couple of your own camping chairs. I would also recommend bringing a board game or two in case it rains like it did for us half of a day. We left a jenga style game there for future occupants. Also, we met a furry neighbor named Rusty (big brown dog) - what a great pup! He likes to swim and play fetch, but don't get concerned when he's in the water, he loves to just swim in circles :) He only lives two houses away and know's his way home. We WILL be back!"

  • wonderful getaway!

"This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! The kitchen is open to the pool table and there is ample seating around the center island for watching the chef. The hot tub was fantastic after a day of hiking and kayaking on the lake. The lake is just a short walk down a wooded country lane. We would definitely come back! Although we did not bring a dog, the house was perfect for a couple/family traveling with their family pet! The owners were very friendly and helpful!"

  • Fabulous Getaway!

"This is a wonderful place for a large group! The furnishings make you feel right at home and it is so clean you can unpack and relax immediately! I went with my family to celebrate Easter and it was the perfect week-end. We are planning to make it an annual or even semi-annual event! It is very secluded and quiet; a great place to chill and unwind!"

Elysburg Travel Tips

Elysburg Vacation Rentals for Relaxation

Elysburg cottages are in a small, but welcoming town. What Elysburg lacks in attractions within the city limits, it makes up for with friendly people, one-of-a-kind locally owned stores and great places to dine. The quiet seclusion of Elysburg vacation rentals gives you a place to come back to and relax after a busy day exploring all that the surrounding sites Allegheny County have to offer.

Elysburg Cottages Close to Amusement Park Fun

Just outside of town, you'll find one of the most talked about amusement parks in the state of Pennsylvania. Knoebels Amusement Resort draws people from all over the country. There are rides for children of all ages, including kiddie rides for the wee ones, roller coasters and carnival rides for the more daring and a beautiful carousel ride and scenic sky ride for the whole family to enjoy. Attractions within the park include miniature golf, laser tag and a 4D motion ride. Knoebels even offers a three pond golf course. And don't forget the summer water park with a large public pool, huge slides and a kiddie area. Knoebels has enough to offer that it may take a few days of your Elysburg vacation rentals stay to get it all in.

Allegheny Area Lodging with Lots to See and Do

There are plenty of options available for activities and sights to see when you stay in Allegheny area lodging. If you're into arts and culture, then you should check out the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Children's Museum or the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium. There are 11 golf courses in the area and several county parks and public swimming pools. Of course, there is an endless supply of shopping and dining locations along the way to wherever your destination for fun may lead.
