"Beautiful custom built cabin in the woods amongst the tree tops! My husband and I stayed two nights and found it hard to leave. Micha and Nancy were wonderful host! We spent our days on Spruce Run Creek which is a 2 minute walk from the cabin. There are chairs already down there and right next to a swimming hole. Extremely peaceful and secluded, perfect for a romantic getaway. I highly recommend staying here for some R&R!"

"My wife and I enjoyed Matt's hospitality at Drooly Bear cabin this past weekend! Although there is a tv, we were specifically unplugging from computer/tv/phone so we didn't use it. It's in secluded central PA, near Raystown Lake and Trough Creek State park where we enjoyed long hikes with our Australian Shepherd Atticus! The unpaved road is also great for mountain bikes or walking. There are a few other cabins near by, but we saw very few people. We woke to the sounds of a multitude of songbirds singing in the surrounding woods and went to bed after enjoying an outdoor campfire under the stars! There is an upstairs loft with a king bed, jacuzzi and bathroom, unfortunately the windows would not open to it was too hot. We used the comfortable downstairs bedroom where the full bath has a shower. The kitchen was great and had all the appropriate cooking utensils. There is an outdoor grill, great front porch, and a grill for the firepit. Matt was very responsive and easy to contact. We really enjoyed our stay and will hope to come back!!"

"We had 3 families together for a long weekend getaway at Raystown (10 people/kids total). The house certainly fit our families well, but 2 adults did have to sleep in a double bed in one of the rooms. 2 twins could push together to make a 'king'. But the house was quite spacious - good areas for sitting, chatting, playing games, hanging out on the back deck, etc. The grill on the deck was really nice. We had 2 boats and 4 cars/trucks total with us and there was decent space for all with a bit of maneuvering. Backing boats up the last stretch of driveway was a little bit tricky, but there is a turnaround loop at the end of the driveway which really helped a lot. The kids loved the small size air hockey table and pool table in the rec room downstairs. This place was really close to the Snyder's Run boat launch which was great for the weekend - it allowed for quick back and forth to the lake whenever we wanted. Less than 3 minute drive to the water. Also it is close to Huntingdon with stores, restaurants, etc. We would be looking to stay here again for future vacation time."

"Love the Altoona house. This is the second time we have stayed there. Great loacation, nearby food, walk to restaurants, Weis supermarket. Liquor store. Found Villa Capri Italian Restaurant to be a gem."
