"This home is beautiful, comfortable, and has everything you could wish for. We had several questions during our stay and Faith and Tony were quick to respond and apologized for any inconveniences. Tony even made a special trip to the house to light the pilot for the fireplace. We brought our two dogs and felt very comfortable having them there. There were framed photos of Babette and other dogs throughout the home - so we could see their dogs are truly part of the family! The Raystown Lake area is beautiful. We rented a pontoon boat and spent a day on the lake with the dogs - what a perfect day! Our only disappointment was that we were not able to use the kayaks (available at the house) because of the distance we would have to carry them from the car to the lake. I had inquired ahead of time and Faith did tell me that we could drive "most" of the way to the lake. I was hoping we could get closer since I am not physically able to carry large items. But the description of the house does mention having to walk to the lake so this was my own wishful thinking! And when I told Faith that we would not be able to use the kayaks after all, she agreed to refund the payment for the rentals. Very nice! The fenced yard was very convenient with the dogs. We could sit on the back deck and let them wander around the yard. The dogs also loved the huge open field behind the house. We had great games of fetch there! We all had a great time."

"Rented this for a reunion with some guys I served in the Marine Corps with. It was awesome. There were ten of us that showed up and had a great time catching up. We hung on the huge deck and had great time. The ability to do some target practice outside was awesome. It was an amazing time and we really want to come back!"

"Our family (including our four legged family) have stayed at Green Valley many times. We enjoy this long weekend in the fall for an unplug (TV for DVD's is available) family time. The Excelsior has everything you could need except food and personal items. Lola takes the time to make each cabin warm and inviting. Although there are things to do outside of Green Valley, we find that spending the time together as a family is something we rarely have the opportunity to do and the reason we enjoy the valley so. We cook together, bring puzzles, board games and movies. There are plenty of trails to walk, streams to wade in , the lake to paddle boat, canoe and fish in. There are rabbits, squirrels, deer in the field and beautiful birds to watch at the feeders on the deck. There is the hot tub directly out the back door which is wonderful any time of day, but especially as night falls and the stars come out. Here in the valley this is a site like you can not image in any city sky."

"This was fourth stay at Francena and our sixth visit to Green Valley. Green Valley is a wonderful place to unwind. The cottage is cozy and we always feel right at home the moment we walk through the door. We enjoy walking the trails and watching nature right outside the window. Our dogs enjoy their stay at as much as we do. We leave feeling relaxed and planning our next visit"
