  • Excellent

"The home was fantastic and very well kept. The proximity to the bike trails is excellent. Google maps shows the house at the end of the cul de sac however the house is right where a short-cut is therfore one steep climb and you're almost there. The house has an excellent induction stove but took some getting used to on my end since i've never used one. There was already plenty of TP, Laundry Detergent, Dish Soap on hand already so i don't recommend pre-purchasing. The front porch is very spacious so our group of 7 fit nicely and enjoyed the rain storms. The bedrooms are comfortable, cool and dark. My friends do recommend a mattress pad for the the three single person beds. Parking is ample, we had 4 cars and there was still space for more. There is a pair of trees right off the front porch which is great for a hammock. The owners were exceptional to deal with, responsive and pleasant. I highly recommend staying here."

  • Great house in the woods

"My friends and I were looking for a place to get away from it all for a weekend and this place was perfect for that. It was a fairly secluded house with only one far away neighbor in sight. The interior was very comfortable. We particularly liked the wood burning stove. The interior was fairly well maintained with only a few minor repairs needed. The exterior was pretty with a wrap around porch and a swing. The owner was very nice and was easy to work with. The last half mile to the house is very rough with rocks and steep hills. However we were able to make it easily even with our small car. However, I would guess you would need a 4x4 if there was a lot of snow. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to escape to the woods for a few days."

  • Superb Home

"We had a wonderful weekend there and, upon entering the door, realized we wished we had made our reservation for a longer time. The home is designed beautifully, all furniture is very comfortable, it is well cared for, and had many features. We especially liked the various areas where different groups could go if they wished to have separate space, as well as common areas where everyone could enjoy one another's company. The back porch with the fireplace is amazing and has a beautiful backdrop of scenic mountains in the distance. Bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen areas are excellent as is the basement area with the pool table. The home is private and close to the lake and trails. Before, during, and after the trip, owner Larry was most helpful and accessible. We highly recommend this home!"
