"This house was great. Had just what we needed at a wonderful price for a big family. We brought our 4 kiddos, and hung out at Raystown during the day, then made our way home for movie nights and relaxing on the couch. We only recently found out that we're having twins, and were excited that there is still room for two more for next year (provided we don't go crazy with 6 kids under 6:)."

"This was our 2nd year in a row staying in this beautiful cabin, and once again it was everything we needed and more! Even with little kids, it was a comfortable stay, and a fun place for all! From the foos-ball table to the outdoor fire pit, and well-appointed kitchen, it was perfect! Truly a gorgeous home in a picturesque location. And just a 20 minute drive to Seven Points Marina and beach."

"We were last at the Hideout 5 years ago and were so happy to come back. There were 11 family members ages 16 months to 67 years and we can wholeheartedly say " a good time was had by all! " It was so nice to have the beds clean and ready with an adequate supply of towels and all basic supplies. The layout of the house works so well for our varied families and needs ( naps to rousing Ping-Pong games! ). The peaceful setting refreshed us all. We're looking forward to next year!"

"My wife and I enjoyed Matt's hospitality at Drooly Bear cabin this past weekend! Although there is a tv, we were specifically unplugging from computer/tv/phone so we didn't use it. It's in secluded central PA, near Raystown Lake and Trough Creek State park where we enjoyed long hikes with our Australian Shepherd Atticus! The unpaved road is also great for mountain bikes or walking. There are a few other cabins near by, but we saw very few people. We woke to the sounds of a multitude of songbirds singing in the surrounding woods and went to bed after enjoying an outdoor campfire under the stars! There is an upstairs loft with a king bed, jacuzzi and bathroom, unfortunately the windows would not open to it was too hot. We used the comfortable downstairs bedroom where the full bath has a shower. The kitchen was great and had all the appropriate cooking utensils. There is an outdoor grill, great front porch, and a grill for the firepit. Matt was very responsive and easy to contact. We really enjoyed our stay and will hope to come back!!"
