"We had 3 families together for a long weekend getaway at Raystown (10 people/kids total). The house certainly fit our families well, but 2 adults did have to sleep in a double bed in one of the rooms. 2 twins could push together to make a 'king'. But the house was quite spacious - good areas for sitting, chatting, playing games, hanging out on the back deck, etc. The grill on the deck was really nice. We had 2 boats and 4 cars/trucks total with us and there was decent space for all with a bit of maneuvering. Backing boats up the last stretch of driveway was a little bit tricky, but there is a turnaround loop at the end of the driveway which really helped a lot. The kids loved the small size air hockey table and pool table in the rec room downstairs. This place was really close to the Snyder's Run boat launch which was great for the weekend - it allowed for quick back and forth to the lake whenever we wanted. Less than 3 minute drive to the water. Also it is close to Huntingdon with stores, restaurants, etc. We would be looking to stay here again for future vacation time."

"We had a wonderful weekend there and, upon entering the door, realized we wished we had made our reservation for a longer time. The home is designed beautifully, all furniture is very comfortable, it is well cared for, and had many features. We especially liked the various areas where different groups could go if they wished to have separate space, as well as common areas where everyone could enjoy one another's company. The back porch with the fireplace is amazing and has a beautiful backdrop of scenic mountains in the distance. Bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen areas are excellent as is the basement area with the pool table. The home is private and close to the lake and trails. Before, during, and after the trip, owner Larry was most helpful and accessible. We highly recommend this home!"

"My wife and I enjoyed Matt's hospitality at Drooly Bear cabin this past weekend! Although there is a tv, we were specifically unplugging from computer/tv/phone so we didn't use it. It's in secluded central PA, near Raystown Lake and Trough Creek State park where we enjoyed long hikes with our Australian Shepherd Atticus! The unpaved road is also great for mountain bikes or walking. There are a few other cabins near by, but we saw very few people. We woke to the sounds of a multitude of songbirds singing in the surrounding woods and went to bed after enjoying an outdoor campfire under the stars! There is an upstairs loft with a king bed, jacuzzi and bathroom, unfortunately the windows would not open to it was too hot. We used the comfortable downstairs bedroom where the full bath has a shower. The kitchen was great and had all the appropriate cooking utensils. There is an outdoor grill, great front porch, and a grill for the firepit. Matt was very responsive and easy to contact. We really enjoyed our stay and will hope to come back!!"

"We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, well-appointed cabin. The weather was very nice for our entire stay. There was a little frost and fog Monday morning, but all things considered it was really warm for November. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and the setting was great and we got to meet two of the three possible dog visitors."
