  • July 27 visit to "My Otter Place"

"Our family and friends found My Otter Place to be a very lovely, quiet and peaceful place to relax and unwind. Although the weather did not cooperate for a few days, we were able to still feel like we were outdoors by dining on the screened in patio, which was very comfortable. The owner is extremely courteous and helpful with any questions and responded to anything we needed to know very promptly. Highly recommend for lovers of the peace and quiet of the outdoors and/or boaters who want to spend time on Lake Raystown."

  • wonderful getaway!

"This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! The kitchen is open to the pool table and there is ample seating around the center island for watching the chef. The hot tub was fantastic after a day of hiking and kayaking on the lake. The lake is just a short walk down a wooded country lane. We would definitely come back! Although we did not bring a dog, the house was perfect for a couple/family traveling with their family pet! The owners were very friendly and helpful!"

  • Amazing

"This house was splendid. Myself and 1o other people stayed here for the weekend, we arrived on Thursday, the house was perfectly clean, everywhere. Its only a half mile from Lake Raystown, has a beautiful back yard. I loved everything about this house. Would definitely consider coming back. Thanks Brian for being such an amazing gentleman to do business with."

  • Wonderful!

"Four generations of my family stayed at the cabin recently and everything was perfect. From the cabin itself which is beautiful and well-laid out for large groups, to where it is located near the lake and state parks, and all the extras like the ping pong and pool tables. We highly recommend walking the trails around the cabin and also nearby Trough Creek State Park. Tatman Run Recreation Area is really close for the beach and fishing. We found plenty to do regardless of the weather. Everything was exactly as described with no surprises and the owners were quick to answer our only question. The pictures are accurate and beautiful but this place really needs to be experienced in person. We highly recommend to people of all ages."
