"My wife and I enjoyed Matt's hospitality at Drooly Bear cabin this past weekend! Although there is a tv, we were specifically unplugging from computer/tv/phone so we didn't use it. It's in secluded central PA, near Raystown Lake and Trough Creek State park where we enjoyed long hikes with our Australian Shepherd Atticus! The unpaved road is also great for mountain bikes or walking. There are a few other cabins near by, but we saw very few people. We woke to the sounds of a multitude of songbirds singing in the surrounding woods and went to bed after enjoying an outdoor campfire under the stars! There is an upstairs loft with a king bed, jacuzzi and bathroom, unfortunately the windows would not open to it was too hot. We used the comfortable downstairs bedroom where the full bath has a shower. The kitchen was great and had all the appropriate cooking utensils. There is an outdoor grill, great front porch, and a grill for the firepit. Matt was very responsive and easy to contact. We really enjoyed our stay and will hope to come back!!"

"we spent 2nights at this wonderful place and could not be more happy. there was a total of 4 people and the place was more than enough room. the owner was very helpful and very friendly to talk with. the place had everything you could need and next year we will be looking forward to coming back. only about 7 miles from knobles and about 6 miles to catawissa. but for more to do go to danville about 8 miles away. bring your gps. the only regret is we did not get to see the big brown dog. rolling hills with farms about. again great place can't go wrong here. see you next year."

"My family of 5 just returned from staying at this charming farmhouse for 4 nights. It is stocked with everything you need--and then some! It is great having room enough for all of us to spread out, unlike in a hotel room. It is close enough to area attractions, but then you can come back to the house and relax after being out for the day. We enjoyed sitting around the campfire at night. The sun room was very spacious and offers a wonderful view of the feeding area for the wildlife. Harold was very helpful in answering our questions about things to do in the area and is a very nice gentleman."

"So comfortable, nicely appointed with a perfect remoteness. We could almost touch the stars. Amazingly we ate out on the deck and there were no insects. It was so relaxing even our 5yr old granddaughter did not ask to turn on the TV. True getaway."
