"We were last at the Hideout 5 years ago and were so happy to come back. There were 11 family members ages 16 months to 67 years and we can wholeheartedly say " a good time was had by all! " It was so nice to have the beds clean and ready with an adequate supply of towels and all basic supplies. The layout of the house works so well for our varied families and needs ( naps to rousing Ping-Pong games! ). The peaceful setting refreshed us all. We're looking forward to next year!"

"This was a very relaxing stay. Janice was wonderful and very welcoming. The house was up a flight of stairs so if you have had knee problems it may not work for you. The country side was breathtaking. I am originally from this area and it was nice to return home. My husband and son went fishing for small mouth and were able to canoe, grill out and invite extending family for a supper on the porch. There is a kennel on sight so expect barking. It did not interrupt our sleep though since our bed was against the opposite wall. However, my son was able to hear the barking which could probably be fixed by moving the bed to the opposite wall. Overall, I recommend this rental and would gladly stay again. Thank you Janice for all you hospitality and sharing of Casper :)."
