"Each year we try to choose a place and time where we can get together with our children, their spouses, and our granddaughter (8 total.) This year we selected Hershey as the location. I spent a lot of effort and time researching accommodations. This was the first time I used VRBO. As it turns out, I could not have made a better selection. The home was lovely with multiple interesting decorative touches. The home was historic which added to its charm. The large kitchen had been updated and was very well equipped. There was plenty of space for all of us. We were together, yet never felt as if we were crowded. We grilled out one evening and really enjoyed the beautiful backyard. The house was very welcoming. The owner, Diane was wonderful and responded quickly whenever I contacted her. She provided several helpful hints including information as to where we could purchase Hersheypark tickets at a discount. Her warmth and the home itself made us feel as if we were staying at a friend's house. I give this rental my highest recommendation. If we return to the area, we would certainly stay there again!! Thank you Diane!"

Spacious, comfortable house: great for extended families
"We rented this place for a vacation with our friends and their families. The house is very large, plenty of space for all of us. each family had a room to themselves with plenty of room to spare. the kids loved the bunk beds in one of the room. the open layout of a living room, dining room and kitchen meant all of us could hang out in a common space. the house is also an easy distance from dutch wonderland, which is where we spent most of our days. the amusement park is great for folks with little kids (3-8 year olds)
Rosene was extremely helpful with all the bookings and reservations and very prompt on all the questions. Would be a good place to stay on our next visit to this area."

"This spot was stunning! We stayed for a month and found it to be just what we needed. There was a little stream that the kids loved tramping down to. We were minutes from the freeway. The house itself was lovely! It was so much more spacious than we had expected. The gas fireplace made evenings so cozy. And in the morning we could see the sunrise from the huge windows. Loved this spot!"

"This cottage was very nice, very clean, had a well-stocked kitchen to cook meals! It was in a very quiet part of town and we spent a lot of time chatting on the large porch.
Keep in mind- There are many stairs to access the door of the cottage. Also- to access the 1/2 bath you need to exit the cottage, with the key, via the stairs and go into a room under the cottage.
We would stay again. Mt Gretna is like a step back in time. We could walk to breakfast at Le Sorelle and walk to dinner at The Hideaway. We had a nice, relaxing couple of days."
