  • Fantastic accommodations! !!!!!

"My family stayed from 8/25-8/29, Monday to Friday. Ruth make you feel welcome the moment you arrive. The guest house has all the benefits of home, kitchen, washer and dryer which is very convenient when you have kids. Our children loved the accommodations and Ruth really makes you feel like family. The rooms are clean and the beds were super comfortable. Even our little dog loved Ruth and she was kind enough to let out our dog and visit her while we were at Hershey park. The location is very close to Hershey, and there is a huge supermarket close by so you can stock the fridge with snacks. We enjoyed the restaurants that were close by as well. When we take our next trip to Hershey we will definitely be staying here. Our dog Belen says thanks Ruth and our children send you a huge hug!"

  • Great Cabin!!

"My girlfriend and I had a great time at this cabin over the 3-day weekend. This is a perfect place to stay if you just want a relaxing weekend. I was actually going to go snowboarding one day, but was so comfortable at the cabin I decided to stay. The pictures don't do the place justice--clean and cozy. Not mentioned anywhere from where I could see in the description is the fact that they have a Blu-ray player and a smart TV-- which means you can watch Netflix and other stuff right on the TV without messing around. Great spice rack made it nice to stay in and cook. Fireplace was great-- we brought some wood and replaced the stuff we used. There is a market very close by if you forget anything. Very welcoming and I would especially recommend it for any couple looking to get away and spend some time with each other. No problems getting in or out, some of the roads are hard to see, but follow the directions and slow down when you're close and you won't have any problems. At least from our experience, we had no problem with the road--even with the snow. I have a 4wd Subaru Sedan and had no problems, although helpful I never felt like the 4wd was absolutely necessary (it all depends on conditions though). Definitely interested in coming back!"

  • Cozy and cute

"Lovely place for a small family reunion. House was clean and inviting, grounds were beautiful. Prettiest house on block. Loved the kitchen. Plenty of space. Beware tall people as there are low doorways. Also beware older folks with knee replacements-- there were steep stairs to house with no guard rail. Lucky for Mom there were plenty of us to help her up, but she did not venture out until time to leave for fear of falling. Again, not an issue unless you need accommodations. We simply forgot to check before making reservation."

"This is the place where Jim and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We were there this week and LOVED every minute! Off the beaten, tourist trail and smack dab in the middle of Amish country! BEAUTIFUL, PEACEFUL and WONDERFUL! We can't wait to go back!"
