Perfect Accomodation; they thought of everything!!
"We have just returned from a week at the White Tail town home and our family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 teens had a fantastic time there. Upon arriving everything was as described. Check-in was very easy and the house was immaculately clean.
The house was a veritable home-from-home; the kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, utensils, dishes and pots and pans, we had brought napkins, paper towels etc. with us, but they were not needed. Bed linens and towels were abundant.
The house is equipped with tennis racquets, fishing gear, laundry and dish detergent (all items we brought with us but didn't need).
Everything was in order and little communication was necessary but when we did contact Mr. Fields he replied very promptly. Our only question was the location of the laundry facilities, which were in the Inn building beside the pool/hot tub area and we needed to get a key from the office.
One of the highlights of the trip was the frequent backyard visitors, deer, several fawn, birds and bunnies. We loved to sit out on the deck with our coffee, enjoying the peace and waiting for them to arrive.
Whilst there, we took day trips to Hershey Park (1 3/4 hours away), Gettysburg (60 minutes drive) and the Renaissance Faire in Manheim, about 2 hours.
We ate one night at Flannery's on the Square which was on the whole a decent meal (see my review here - http://www.yelp.com/biz/flannerys-tavern-on-the-square-mercersburg?utm_campaign=www_business_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct))
The house is only 20 minutes from Hagerstown over the MD state line where we found a mall and chain restaurants such as Buffalo Wild Wings and Outback.
The pool and spa were spotless and the tennis courts well kept just a few minutes walk from the house.
Definitely a place we would return to for the ski season when amenities and activities would be more closely located."

"We just got back from our second stay here and I just love everything about this place. It is truly an Oasis. This is such a quiet peaceful place to stay yet you are still a very close drive to most Dutch Country attractions. First the accommodations themselves are top notch. Beautifully decorated and well maintained you feel completely comfortable and at home from the moment you arrive. Beds are super comfortable, towels are plush and then all the extras Kristy has thought of. A new spa diffuser is a nice touch to make the whole place smell wonderful, every time I opened another cabinet or cubby I found more games and toys for my kids to play with. My 2 year old was so excited with all the toys he found. She even has a pack n play, booster seat, and even a stepstool in the bathroom so my 2 year old could reach the sink. And my favorite fresh homemade bread waiting for you when you arrive. Such thoughtful touches. Then the surroundings are awesome. i loved waking up every morning to find three cute cats waiting at the door for us to come out and play, we could feed the extremely friendly goats right outside, watch the cows in the pasture watching us! There is a small playset right outside as well as a game room that my older son loved and asked before we left if we were going to the house "with the game room" as he remembered it from two years ago. You could entertain yourself here for several hours! Kristy is such a gracious host she is always there if you need her. If you are coming to this area you shouldn't look any further. Stay here and you won't be disappointed."

"We had an absolutely amazing time at Seventh Heaven Lodge. What a beautiful place, perfectly suitable for a group get-away.
First and foremost, the owners were great. They were flexible with us and willing to do whatever they could to make our stay exceptional. Even during our stay they were available to help and answered to our needs quickly.
Second, the lodge. It was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better layout. Large family room/kitchen area that holds your entire group, no problem. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and dishes. There were plenty of bedrooms and everyone slept comfortably. The space was clean, towels, sheets, blankets, everything you need. The basement has a nice pool table as well.
The wrap around, screened-in porch was a great addition and extended the living space even further. We enjoyed the yard and outdoor fire pit all day and even walked around the trails surrounding the property.
We loved Seventh Heaven Lodge and hope to make our trip an annual one. Thanks again to the owners, they were spectacular. To anyone who enjoys a little peace, serenity, and an outdoor escape, this place is for you."
