"Our Central Pennsylvania Emmaus Sisters gathered to celebrate our 20th year of annual retreats. We returned to Little Cove for the third year and hopeful we can return again for our 2016 annual retreat. We could not have asked for a more perfect location. Previously we rented lodges at Rehoboth Beach, Poconos, Berkeley Springs, Raystown Lake. Nothing compares to Little Cove. Chuck Kipe the house manager made sure everything was in perfect order prior to our arrival. The cottage was warm and cozy, fireplace ready for the flick of the match. The snowfall that greeted us on Fridy morning enhanced our stay. The quiet, solitude and stillness helped us to come away for rest, renewal and restoration."

"If you are looking for a little slice of heaven on earth to relaxe and reconnect to life itself, this is the place!! We stayed her for 1 week and did not want to leave, the nissleys are wonderful host and able to offer advice to local attractions, restaurants and farm stands. I would recommend staying here if you want a safe, clean and relaxing place to stay away from the tourist traps."

"My husband and I recently stayed at Dan & Lena's guest house, with our 3 daughters (ages 1, 6 and 11). Dan & Lena were very helpful and accomodating as we traveled with children. They supplied a pack-n-play for our youngest daughter, and had cereal, milk, & water available when we arrived. Our girls loved playing on the swings, watching the animals on the farm, watching the horse & buggies as they went by, playing in the sandbox and taking a tour of the farm with Dan. The guest house was extremely clean and close to all local attractions. We look forward to coming for another visit!"

"My husband, my daughter and her wife, and our 21 month old granddaughter spent the weekend in this beautiful historical house. The house was very clean, quite comfortable, and so quiet. The kitchen was fully equipped for our needs. We loved the location of the house and its surroundings. The yard was large and included a small slide which my granddaughter really enjoyed. She also enjoyed seeing the cows that came very close to the fence surrounding the yard. It was fun being in Amish country and learning more about the Amish, especially by means of a buggy ride which was located close by. Although the house is in the country, it is not far from a number of small towns and restaurants. Overall, the house was a great choice for us!"
