  • Everything you could ask for!

"There is nothing that I can say that hasn't been said in previous reviews. This was an amazing house that had everything and anything that you could possibly want or need during your stay. From the logs left for the fireplace to the progressive puzzle that was worked on by previous guests and finished by our group. Just an all around great place to stay. I will highly recommend this vacation home and hope to return again with the rest of the family. Thank you , Lee and Cindy for a great stay and the awesome brownies!"

  • Peaceful, spacious, relaxing, what more can I say.

"We have stayed at numerous vacation rentals and Sylvan Retreat did not disappoint. This place is spacious, the room upstairs was wonderful for the kids to play in and the yard was marvelous. Plenty of room for all eight of us. We cancelled plans to stay home one night and grill, have a fire, and the kids caught fireflies. We played music and relaxed. The yard is truly a retreat. The kids loved the playset, I enjoyed the glider and the men loved the pool table and ping pong table in the garage. There was also a foosball game. It took me a bit to find the garage, but it is down the driveway. We took hikes on the trails and the kids and adults picked berries. I loved it that there was no TV in the living room, but in all the bedrooms. Phil had everything you need there and it was clean (which is my first priority.) No one was ready to leave and hope to be back."

  • Excellent holiday rental

""Simply Wonderful" the name of the apartment says it all, it is just that !! We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this property, so comfortable with lovely little touches to make it a memorable stay. Mary and Omar are a delightful couple and nothing is too much trouble. Pointed us in the right direction for days out and restaurants to eat at. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and although we arrived as strangers we left as friends. Thank you Omar and Mary for helping us build memories which we will treasure back home in England"
