"Our Central Pennsylvania Emmaus Sisters gathered to celebrate our 20th year of annual retreats. We returned to Little Cove for the third year and hopeful we can return again for our 2016 annual retreat. We could not have asked for a more perfect location. Previously we rented lodges at Rehoboth Beach, Poconos, Berkeley Springs, Raystown Lake. Nothing compares to Little Cove. Chuck Kipe the house manager made sure everything was in perfect order prior to our arrival. The cottage was warm and cozy, fireplace ready for the flick of the match. The snowfall that greeted us on Fridy morning enhanced our stay. The quiet, solitude and stillness helped us to come away for rest, renewal and restoration."

"The house was comfortable and located close to everything we wanted to do. Trisha was exceptional....very friendly and helpful. The grounds were gorgeous and green. The house had window AC units and they worked very well. If you love farm houses this is the place to stay. PEACEFUL~ It is on a busy main road but the traffic did not affect our stay or enjoyment. I highly recommend."

"First and foremost...wow! I read the reviews before our stay and there really is nothing we can put into words to describe our stay. We had the most memorable anniversary trip here. We connected on so many levels and it just strengthened our bond. We typically set aside time to enjoy each other's company. This time we actually put away the phones and didn't watch any television. We cooked together, ate together, and just enjoyed one another. We have traveled internationally and this short weekend helped us both learn to appreciate each other again. Roman and Lucy received a word from God to minister to couples and do it with ease. The organic treats were just that and we wanted to buy more to bring home. We decided to visit at least twice a year and just cleanse our minds, bodies, and spirits. This is worth visiting and just renewing your love (and lust) for each other. The scripture below represents our relationship and we promise to cherish each other all of our days.
Ephesians 5:22-33: 22 Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church-- 30 for we are members of his body. 31 "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." 32 This is a profound mystery--but I am talking about Christ and the church. 33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband."
