  • Absolutely fabulous!

"This was our 6th visit. We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to visit the area each year to sample the wines and stay at such an amazing place! This year we were so happy to share the experience with our 8 month old son. He just loved playing in the grass and visiting the beach. Richard and Leonidas where awesome as usual, and loved visiting with our son! Oh, and the resident bald eagle made it's yearly appearance on July 4th yet again!"

  • Wine fest reunion

"My brother, fiancé and myself stayed here during wine fest and we had an excellent experience. It was cozy and welcoming when we arrived. Staying here during this long weekend was much more accommodating and home like than any hotel. We look forward to booking again..."

  • Just Wonderful!

"We stayed here last year and loved it so much we came back again this year! The house is right on the lake (beautiful sunsets) and the sound of the water at all hours is totally relaxing. The house is very well stocked with everything you could possible need. Don't forget to bring sheets and towels, but there are plenty of pots and pans, dishes, mugs, etc. The sunporch is wonderful for sitting, reading, jig saw puzzles, or just watching the water. The deck is a great place for that early morning coffee. The lake is RIGHT THERE if you are up for water activities. The sand and beaches of Presque Isle are just a couple miles down the road. Presque isle has wonderful walking/biking paths and a couple of us were feeling energetic, so we rented one of those bicycles with the full seat and canapy overhead. We spent as much time laughing as we did peddling. Erie, proper, is just a few miles away with plenty of things to do. We went to the zoo and the Station Dinner Theater; did some shopping, some sightseeing, some just hanging out. So, if you want a house right on the lake that is just WONDERFUL... this is the place for you!"

  • Beautiful

"This was our 3rd year that my sisters and brother and spouses have gone on a mini vacation and each year the place has gotten nicer. Upon arrival my brother in law said each year you top the last one, but I don't think you will top this place. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to visit together or go off to yourself if needed. The deck was big and there was enough seating for all of us. The notebook in the kitchen with places to see and places to eat was very helpful, it included menus and directions. We ate at the Freeport restaurant our first evening and was amazed at the quality and quantity of the food. We went back for breakfast the day we left and was also pleased. The owners were very helpful, answering any questions we had and responded quickly. We hope to visit again."
