  • Great Vacation

"The cottage is exactly as it appears in the photos - very clean! We enjoyed biking through the vineyards, and kayaking and biking at Presque Isle. It was wonderful to come home to a comfortable, quiet space. The owners are considerate and helpful."

  • Get away from it all

"When all us girls went away for our ladies weekend we didn't know what to expect. We travel up north a few times a year for our ladies only weekend away and was very pleased with what we found when we got there. The driveway through the woods to the house was all covered in yellow fallen leaves, it was just beautiful. The pond was the first thing we saw before we got to the house. The house is very secluded which is what most of us wanted. The house is a nice size so the 9 of us had plenty of room. We didn't see any bald eagles but the sunsets were one of the nicest ones I have ever seen. Being right there on the lake was very relaxing. I would recommend this place for anyone who needs to get away from it all. The owners were really great to work with. We can't wait to go back during a different season so we could spent more time at the beach and on the deck. You are close to Erie as well as Ohio. Didn't get a chance to do to much while we were there because of the weather but did enjoy the company and the fact that we were away. Again can't wait to go back."

  • Fall Get Away

"Visiting Erie in the fall has become an annual trip for our family. This property was awesome for our stay this year. The location suited us perfectly as it is close to fishing spots, many wineries and horseback riding. We even had the opportunity to watch grapes being harvested in a vineyard by the house. The house was very clean and provided a feel of home. We found everything we needed to prepare meals. There were some chilly evenings during our stay, and we loved relaxing in front of the fireplace while looking at the beautiful lake view. One of my favorite pastimes while in Northeast is looking for beach glass, and the nice path to the beach made it easy for me to make many trips to the edge of the water to search for "treasure". Manager and owner were both excellent to work with while completing the rental and during the stay. I would highly recommend this property."

  • Nice Family Vacation

"Last year we stayed in one of the lower apts and our stay was not exactly up to par, however the owners honored their offer for us to stay again this year- this time in the upper apt. Our stay this year was much better! The apt was clean, well stocked and ready upon arrival. The private beach is so nice to have just across the road (I will warn, it is a typical Erie beach-more rocky than sandy- but my kids loved it just the same). The area is quiet and peaceful. The only issue we had during our stay was a problem with the water heater which was resolved quickly even on a sunday morning. The apt is comfortable and while you don't get very good cell service or sometimes not at all, the wifi is quite fast! This is a nice get away for families or anyone really!"
