  • Absolutely fabulous!

"This was our 6th visit. We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to visit the area each year to sample the wines and stay at such an amazing place! This year we were so happy to share the experience with our 8 month old son. He just loved playing in the grass and visiting the beach. Richard and Leonidas where awesome as usual, and loved visiting with our son! Oh, and the resident bald eagle made it's yearly appearance on July 4th yet again!"

  • City Family

"This was our first trip to Lake Erie as a family - I honestly don't know where to begin because we had such an amazing stay. Lynne was an amazing cottage host -she answered all of our questions immediately (I had a lot of them) and she made suggestions on activities tailored to our family. We had the most beautiful accommodations and scenery - it truly was the serene atmosphere we needed to escape the busy city life! My boys were begging us to stay forever, I wish we could've! Favorite activities: collecting beach glass, painting rocks on the picnic table at sunset, swimming in a creek next to lake, building sandcastles, walking to mazza winery and tasting fabulous wine (the kids tasted sparkling juice!), walking my baby to sleep along the shoreline, a private fishing charter and the best tasting fried fish for dinner that night, and the list goes on! Bottom line - rent from Lynne if you want a five-star feel on a private, rustic beach in the middle of wineries! Thanks Lynne!!!!"

  • Lovely Relaxing and Comfortable Retreat

"The cottage is lovely!! After a city break and lots of driving, it was lovely to have the perfect rest at this house in such a nice location. You can just rest and enjoy the house and the lake, relaxing swims, laying in the sun, watch TV etc, or get our and see other places nearby."

  • Wonderful stay

"We just returned home from a wonderful stay at this lake house. The owner's house is as beautiful in person as the pictures on VRBO. It was clean, spacious, and offered everything we needed for a three night stay. Our daughters loved playing the games you had: Washers, String and Hoop game, and board games. We all loved the short walk to our own private beach. Close enough drive to visit Presque Isle and spend the day boating. Loved the Tasty Treat ice cream shop about two miles from the house. Would definitely consider visiting again!"
