  • Amazing!!

"We could not have been happier with our four night stay at Treaster's cabin. We were able to take our 2 labs with us and I believe they enjoyed themselves more than we did. The cabin is cozy, but the pond was the best feature in my opinion. We took out the paddle boats, enjoyed some fishing, and took walks alongside the pond. We saw some amazing sunsets that would reflect onto the pond and I can't forget to mention how amazingly clear the stars came out at night. World's End state park is within a twenty minute drive. We would love to return in the near future!!"

  • Cozy family style cabin -August 2014 review.

"We stayed at this Cabin and really felt at home. It was the coziest place we have stayed, and we hv stayed at other cabins in the past. We liked the privacy it provided. It was well maintained and comfortable. We where able to drive into town and have dinner. We went to Worlds End State Park, ( where my Hubby caught 2 fish.) We hiked in Ricketts Glen State Park ans saw many beautiful Waterfalls. We saw Lizards, a fox, and many deer near the cabin. It is a nice place to get away from everyday stress, relaxing. We also drive to PA GRAND CANYON one day, and took the one hour Train ride. There is a nice beach also at Worlds End State Park.It was nice to come back to this cozy cabin after all our daily activities. I would consider staying here again in the future."

  • Excellent Vacation Experience!

"John and Kay, We had a great time at the Retreat! Even nicer in person than pictures and description on the internet. Clean and comfortable. Just bring food. Quiet and secluded, yet only a few miles from Dushore and State parks. We look forward to returning next year!"

  • Beautiful Home, Great Location!

"We stayed here for a post-graduation get-together and we had a fantastic stay. Everything was tidy, clean, and thoroughly planned. They had pots, pans, a dishwasher, a coffee maker (with coffee), toilet paper, towels, and pretty much anything you would need to live in someone's home for a week. We loved all of the amenities, including the two balconies, the fire pit (with firewood), and the light-up globe. It was a peaceful and remote location, but not far from grocery stores and restaurants in Dushore and close to the beautiful Rickett's Glen State Park and Knoebel's Amusement Park. While we did a couple of day trips, we couldn't help but stay away too long from this wonderful home. So much space to spread out!"
