"We stayed at this place from July 24th to July 26th. The location is excellent, and the house is great with all the amenities required. I think this area will be more beautiful during Fall colors, we are planning to visit again during the fall season.
The resort has a small restaurant, but it is beautifully located overlooking the nice golf course, it has a bar also and the prices are not very expensive.
The fresh water lake is excellent. Swimming, kayaking, paddling boats lot to enjoy.
We had a trouble to reach the main entrance with our GPS, it took us to other entrance where there is no cellular coverage. Other than this we had excellent stay.
One last thing, there is a walmart store around 7-8 miles, so we got all our grocery shopping for the barbecue night :)
I will visit again soon, and will recommend to friends.
Dave is very nice person and he responds to calls, messages at any time with required information. The transaction with him went very smooth.

"Cindy & Hugh's cabin was a nice getaway. It's very peaceful and quiet. Our kids (and us adults) loved exploring the property. We found salamanders, toads, slugs & caterpillars. On our drives we saw deer and turkey. It was great to be able to bring our dog with us. She had a good vacation too! If you want a nice place to fish or walk, I recommend Rouse Lake. It was very quiet and pretty. The pond near the cabin wasn't very convenient, as most of it is privately owned and the portion that isn't is hard to access. If you go into Dushore check out the Jolley Trolley...very neat store/diner. For evenings or rainy days there are tons of movies and games in the cabin. Our kids really enjoyed those too! It was wonderful having our morning coffee on the porch and campfires at night. The toilet is a little finicky b/c it's a vacuum flush, but Hugh came to check it when we let them know it was making an odd sound. I'd recommend the cabin for families, couples or friends looking for a comfy cozy getaway."

"House is very close to the lake. House is very spacious. It's clean with all the upgrades. The owner was very kind. He followed up often to make sure we got there ok and our stay is comfortable. I would highly recommend this place."

"We spent a week in this cabin and absolutely enjoyed ourselves! The beds were comfortable and the cabin was extremely clean. The owners were wonderful and very accommodating, even allowing us to check in early with less then 24 hours notice and allowing us to extend our stay for an extra 3 days. The cabin is in the middle of nowhere with a big lake on the property. It was the middle of winter so we didn't get to take advantage of the fishing but our dog loved running around on the land surrounding the property. A cabin this nice is a rare find and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay near Dushore!"
