  • Idyllic and Serene.

"We stayed here for our anniversary, and had the most fantastic time! The house is lovely, very clean, and has all the amenities you could hope for. We especially loved the remote-controlled fireplace! Ventured out for a few hikes at World's End State Park (the Canyon Vista Trail) and Loyalsock State Forest (Haystacks and Dutchman Falls) -- all wonderful and so beautiful with the early fall colors coming in. I am so thankful for John and Kay creating such a lovely retreat that allowed us to get away for a few days. We had a fantastic time, and will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!!"

  • Perfect Family Weekend

"This was a perfect house for what we needed: plenty of space and child-friendly. The rooms were well set-up for a large group and so was the kitchen and eating area. We could even open the doors to the porch and filter in there while eating. The lake and Fall Festival activities were both a short walk; the playground was a great spot for the kids to run around."

  • Cozy family style cabin -August 2014 review.

"We stayed at this Cabin and really felt at home. It was the coziest place we have stayed, and we hv stayed at other cabins in the past. We liked the privacy it provided. It was well maintained and comfortable. We where able to drive into town and have dinner. We went to Worlds End State Park, ( where my Hubby caught 2 fish.) We hiked in Ricketts Glen State Park ans saw many beautiful Waterfalls. We saw Lizards, a fox, and many deer near the cabin. It is a nice place to get away from everyday stress, relaxing. We also drive to PA GRAND CANYON one day, and took the one hour Train ride. There is a nice beach also at Worlds End State Park.It was nice to come back to this cozy cabin after all our daily activities. I would consider staying here again in the future."

  • We enjoyed our stay

"We found the house in great shape and well appointed. The woods behind was very relaxing for sitting and visiting. The only item we missed was WIFI since we had 2 teenagers with us. It is available in the community just not at the house. A small inconvenience as we worked around it. Grandparents were with us as well and the house was very comfortable for all 6 of us together."
