  • Enjoyable stay and time with the guys...

"For a buddy's bachelor party we decided to try out Skirmish U.S.A. (paintball) and found ourselves only a few minutes away when staying at the 114 Anibi Lane, Albrightsville, PA location. The house easily slept eight (as listed) and served all of our purposes (daily relaxing, access to sights and nightlife, et al.). We visited post-ski season and pre-summer adventures, so I highly recommend an April weekend at this location if you are looking for a chance to beat the crowds and get away. The property owner was easily accessed (when needed) and checked in with us less than 12-hours after arrival (much appreciated). The only downfall of our stay was that we found ourselves lost, at times, due to an inordinate amount of fog that lasted nearly up to departure (locals said this was uncommon). Within a reasonable driving distance was multiple watering holes, a casino, numerous golf courses, and the aforementioned paintball facility. It would seem there would be plenty to do within the location's community during the winter and summer months as well. I, and the other seven gentlemen who attended with me, would recommend this location, no matter the reason, if you are looking for somewhere to stay when visiting the Pocono Mountains. *We also recommend Shenanigans Fine Dining Restaurant (and nightlife) as their meal was exceptional!"

  • A great week!

"We had a very comfortable and entertaining week in the house. We were there during a super cold week, so we didn't go out much. It's a great set up for simultaneously cooking and hanging out with guests. Our 10 yr old boys loved it and had a great time sitting in front of the fireplace, hanging out in the game room and the loft area. The place was quite clean. And we really appreciated being able to bring our dog! We also greatly appreciate the owner's flexibility with our departure time. Always a quick response in communications!"

  • Absolutely beautifully welcoming home!!

"We had a wonderful family vacation! Rubins retreat is absolutely adorable! Very clean, very comfortable. We found lots to do between the amenities at the house and throughout the community, and with some short travels to Hawk Falls, and Country Junction. The owners were very pleasant, and answered all of our questions promptly. We highly recommend to those with or without children to get away and enjoy yourself. The owners remembered every little detail when stocking and decorating their beautiful home!! We hope to come back soon!!"

  • Missing the "Tree House" already

"Thank you so much for the amazing stay. As others have already said, the pictures do not do this house justice. It is jaw-dropping with so many special little details and natural lighting throughout the house. We had a couples get away (5 total) for President's Weekend and there was more than enough space for all. There are quick trips (less than 30 minutes) to Mt Airy Casino and ski slopes and plenty of restaurants to look into in the area. It was tough to leave, but we are hoping to book again in the near future."
