  • Very Comfortable, Nice Family Ski Getaway!

"We had a great stay with our three boys (2 teens and an 8-year-old) who all snowboard. The unit was huge, with plenty of room for us all to be together or spread out when we needed our space. The lower level was an extra bonus, with plenty of room for another family to stay. Well furnished, and fully stocked which made for a very comfortable stay. The unit was also close enough to walk to the slopes, which our boys loved the convenience of! (And my husband loved more because he didn't have to drive down the mountain every time someone wanted to hit the slopes or come in!) The owner was very helpful in answering all our questions and went out of her way to be accommodating. Would definitely stay at this unit again!"

  • Bliss

"My family had the perfect summer vacation during our stay at the Fourth Woods, log cabin. We experienced everything there was to do and enjoyed every minute of it. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Our family is VERY busy with 2 young teenagers that keep us on the go, this cabin was exactly what my family needed. We had plenty of room with extended family visitors and yet it was still intimate. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The layout is perfect with the downstairs room, way bigger than I imagined. Every night we sat by the fire pit and talked about the adventures of the day. There was plenty to do or nothing if you desired. We rented a boat, took the kids tubing, went fishing, hiking, shopping. My daughter hung a hammock in the woods and did her summer reading for HS. We BBQ'd, dined out in local restaurants, and became regulars at the local ice-cream parlor. Town is friendly and a fun place shop in the little stores and tourist shops. The cabin is kept in immaculate condition and well maintained and that is how we left it. It is easy to see how much the owner loves this cabin when you experience the comfort & decoration for yourself. He was very accommodating and organized throughout the rental process. I highly recommend this rental. One of the highlights of the trip was seeing a black bear on the property. He seemed very comfortable and quietly disappeared into the woods when he saw that we noticed him."

  • Relaxation

"We had a lovely weekend which included, sitting in front of the fire, making delicious food, watching movies, building a puzzle while drinking a glass of wine and taking walks through the snow! We could not have asked for a more relaxing and reenergizing way to celebrate our engagement."

  • Good place to rest your head and eat!

"As another reviewer said do not expect lavish and up scale. This rustic home is a great place for our group to play some cards, cook some meals, sleep and just relax. Great price for the weekend and you cannot beat the location to Split Rock Resort, the golf course and other attractions!"
