  • Great place to stay in the Pocono's

"We rented this home as a place for the family to stay for my daughters wedding at Skytop Lodge. The home is the last one on Fairway Drive just before you get to the main entrance to Skytop. The home is extremely comfortable with two working fireplaces, the back porch invites you to sit and relax for hours.:)...the heat worked like a charm too as the temperature began to drop during our stay. Perhaps the best surprise we had was within 30 minutes of checking in, the power went out in our area do to a car hitting a power pole on the main street...for us, the lights flickered for a second and the automatic generator kicked in and we were the only ones with power for the next 8 hours...very nice addition for that unexpected emergency. The bedrooms are comfortable with adequate storage/closet space. You are literally 2 minutes from he Skytop Lodge so it was very convenient for us. We are looking to return just on our own in the future!"

  • A Wonderful Place!

"What a wonderful place to find some R&R! My husband and I are first-timers at this area and the location is very quiet on a street corner. The house amenities are tremendous....dishwasher, washer, dryer and little miscellaneous things in a home are available. You don't have to leave the house to find some activity, swimming pool is more for adults, has deep areas. nice small lake, boating, fire pit, back yard access are great... can't beat the large deck and bbq grill! Wall heating units works great in every room. large a/c unit in living room. Nearest town and tourist areas are about 30 minutes away. What a beautiful view of the lake from the deck to wake up in the morning sipping a cup of coffee! We are from the city and the house is more country-ish style, not modern but very homey. Loved our stay! Definitely will return! Thanks Michael and Celeste!"

  • Amazing Cottage for an Amazing Weekend

"My seven friends and I absolutely loved staying at this cottage for a weekend getaway from New York City. The accommodations were spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked with all the gadgets, utensils, dishes, and glassware we could possibly need, which was incredibly important because our group loves to grill/cook. The living room was great for relaxing while watching some TV, but we spent most of our time hanging out on the wraparound balcony enjoying the scenery and gorgeous weather. Four acres was more than enough land to make sure our stay was quiet, but the sound system, which worked with all of our iPhones and iPods, had indoor and outdoor speakers and ensured that when we wanted music, we had it. We stopped by the Indian Rocks community area to play some half court basketball and take a dip in the pool (which was very clean and was not incredibly busy). The house came stocked with board games for downtime. The WiFi worked flawlessly - which was important since many in our group are email and instagram fiends. Also, my boys and I became pretty competitive on the ping pong table in the basement (Forrest Gump competitive, at least in our minds). While it's best to bring all the groceries you need, there are a few convenience stores not too far off, and we found a great supermarket about 20 minutes away. It was 50-55 degrees at night, which was somewhat cool for a summer night, but the chiminea kept my group toasty while we enjoyed some drinks in the outdoors. On our way home, we stopped by The Crossings Outlet in Stroudsburg (about 25-30 min away). I can't wait to go back to this cottage!"
