  • Awesome memories made!

"Bob and Tracey we honestly can't thank you enough. On short notice you worked with us and your generosity is truly appreciated. Your home in Camelback Village is beautiful, cozy and its location to the slopes was great for the kids to come and go as they please. We saved a small fortune on their lunches, dinners and snacks. Your place is appointed with everything we could've possibly needed and more. We even took a day off skiing when the slopes were crowded and played a parents vs kids basketball game. Thank you for helping us make some great memories with our families and friends."

  • Clean, kid friendly & away from it all rental

"We stayed here for our annual vacation with 2 other familes. We were very please at the how nice the house was and the nice condition of everything (these pictures don't do it justice). The pictures are nice but it is much nicer in person. There is a huge wrap around deck with a table and chairs, a charcoal grill (which is what we used) and a gas grill. The downstairs pool room was an added bonus, especially if you have kids. There was a washer and dryer downstairs to use also. The loft was perfect for the children to sleep in and have their own play area. The guys had fun playing golf with 2 of the older kids ($10 a day) and all the little ones enjoyed the playground and pool (pool passes were given to us to use, thank you!). The only complaint on my end would be the lack of air conditioning. There was one unit that we put in the window ourselves (but it wasn't big enough) and a box fan. The day we arrived it was extremely hot, even though you are in the moutains you might still need to bring along fans for the warm summer days and nights. As far as nerby attractions, this location is not very close to anything, but you really don't need anything with everything there is to do on site. Mike, the owner, was extermely helpful with answering our questions we had and communicating with us. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would highly reccomend this place to everyone if you are looking to get away from the hustle of everyday life. Relaxing is exactly what you get to do here!"

  • Family Vacation

"When we were looking to return to the Pocono's for our family vacation we were pleased that we found this house. The indoor hot tub was a hit with the kids & we had to "swim" in it every night after dinner. The home was clean & well maintained. Short drive to Jim Thorpe, the Butterfly House on 903, Big Boulder, Jack Frost, Split Rock, and the highways to explore the other wonders the Pocono's has to offer. We really enjoyed watching the deer & wild turkey's walk through the back yard."

  • Great Vacation!

"This was our second vacation in Poconos. We had a wonderful time with our family. Accommodations were great. Very specious Townhouse with enough rooms and bathrooms to give all privacy and comfort. Enjoyed fully equipped kitchen even with cleaning supplies. Passes to the clubhouse, pool and beach greatly appreciated. Grandchildren had a blast. Jim Thorpe's train ride was great and only about half an hour away. Sunday brunch at the Clubhouse was very good. Wayne was very helpful in answering all of our questions and our deposit was returned within few days. Thank you for letting us use your vacation home."

Hawley Travel Tips

'"Hawley Cabins Provide a Remedy'"

When you're fed up with feeling cramped, closed in and gridlocked, it's up to you to listen to your inner dialogue. Your body will tell you when it's time to escape the towering walls of glass and steel and trade them in for some quality time in one of the remote Hawley cabins.

'"Hawley Cabins for a Restful Getaway'"

Maybe you haven't previously entertained the notion of spending time at one of the Poconos vacation rentals available to city folks. Like many people, you may equate vacationing outdoors with roughing it and doing without. But this is not the 1800's and heading off to the outdoors need not involve living in a teepee for a week wearing a hair shirt. With Hawley house rentals, you'll find amenity after amenity, all included to provide the comforts you're used to while eliminating many of the headaches of your daily life. At one of the Hawley cabins, time slips by peacefully and breathing all that fresh clean air might be the biggest shock you'll face each day. Located far – but not too far – from several cities, smog and the smell of industrial pollution are quickly left behind.

'"Growing on You?'"

You might find that time spent in one of the Hawley house rentals will create lasting memories that will come to mind often -- and call you to return. That might explain why more and more formerly hardcore city dwellers are revisiting the area year after year. With easy access to fishing, mountain hiking and biking trails, camping and more state parks than you can visit in a single stay, this area is prime vacation real estate. Throw in some boating and hunting if you're trying to add to the mix. After all, the Poconos have been popular with folks trying to 'get away' for over a hundred years!
