"My family and I just came back from a lovely week at the Lorenzo's home. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The place was exactly as advertised- GREAT views of the lake. It's true the hike to the lake is short but steep but it wasn't a problem for us. We loved sitting on the deck every morning with a cup of coffee and every evening with a glass of wine just watching the boats. Great fire pit for s'mores and the kitchen was really nicely done with everything we could have needed. We took advantage of a lot the area had to offer- rented a pontoon boat, went to Claws n Paws animal park and Costas, with our son, a few nice dinners in both Hawley and Hamlin. It was exactly the getaway we were looking for and a fabulous first trip to Lake Wally!"

"The house is exactly as the pictures showed! It is a beautiful home on the inside, with plenty of room for a party of 15 for multiple nights! The area has a lot of great hiking trails and water activities (swimming, rafting, etc.). The sunroom was a nice bonus, especially at night when the weather cooled down a bit. The hosts were extremely nice, always taking care to keep the guests' needs met. The only drawback was dealing with the gate, if it's not the main one. If you have a list of guests, make sure they go in through the main gate, otherwise they'll run into the issue of "not being on the list". Overall though, I wouldn't hesitate to come back and stay again!"

"This place was as advertised, maybe better. We rented for the weekend. It was a guys weekend of old college and high school friends. We caught an amazing weather weekend, with temps in the 70s. We spent the day in the backyard with BBQ, horseshoes, football and watching some incredible wakeboarding on the lake. At night we sparked up the fire pit for several hours before walking down to Shenanigans and Nicks. All we needed was walkable, however the beach, ski slopes, waterpark, groceries, hiking are all within a short (5 min) drive. The house was amazing. Clean, spacious and well kept. Everyone kept saying what an amazing house and location it was. THe owner was a pleasure to deal with and everything went smooth. Because we had such good weather, I never even checked out the basement until we were leaving. It was perfect for rainy summer day or after getting back from the slopes, with the bar, video games, etc. My family has rented in the area during the winter the last two seasons and this place is the best I have stayed in."

"There were 4 of us, all adults, staying at Nan's place for the weekend. Nan was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early and stay late on Sunday. It was nice not to have to rush to get up and get out. The beds were comfortable however for a cottage that is advertised to sleep 6, there was not adequate couch space. As a group of 4, we were a tad uncomfortable squeezing on the couch (loveseat really) and one chair. Other than that one thing, we would defiantly return and recommend Nan's place! We loved the seclusion and the deer! It was perfect distance to many tree farms and we all had a relaxing weekend. Thanks Nan for the cabin! We hope to see you again next year!"
