"This is our third time in Masthope and so far, this is the best house we have ever rented in this community. The house is super clean, very well maintained and super warm. We have 3 small kids and they have lots of room to play and have fun. Beverly is so nice, and super easy to work with. We are hoping to come back summer time. Thank you, Beverly, for letting us stay in your great home."

You can literally walk to the mountain... Beautiful view of the lake..... Great parking... Easy in and out... Split rock lodge is a mile away if you want to take the kids tubing at H2O... They also have a bowling alley...basketball courts.. • Perfect summer getaway

"We stayed at this wonderful chalet style house in arrowhead lake community with my family and my almost 4 year old and 14 months old kids. We had a great time. The house is in great condition, very clean, stocked with everything necessary, and it had a basement full of toys which my kids loved. The owner is very helpful; all my questions were answered within a few hours. The beach is a short 15 walk away. The pool was a short drive away. This was a nice, stress free, enjoyable vacation. I highly recommend it especially with small children."

  • Peace and Quiet!

"I am a busy business owner and single parent of a first year teen. I needed to get away and stumbled upon the best I could have imagined. The quaint cottage was decorated with antiques that blended with comfort so well. The updated bathrooms were heaven. Spending the mornings watching the wild turkeys while drinking coffee and spending the evenings lounging around the pool watching the deer was tranquility at it's best. The "refreshing" pool took some getting use to due to the low temperatures for the month, but was heaven for the two girls. I will definitely look for this place again. The owner, Annie, is an added bonus. She takes care of everything from checking for delivery meals to taking the trash to the curb. She is always cheerful and sweet. Thank you for your hospitality."

Kunkletown Travel Tips

Small Town Living in Kunkletown Cabins

There are so many great sights and experiences in the Kunkletown area, and Monroe County's Poconos vacation rentals offer you great home base for seeing it all. Kunkletown is a tiny little place that's near both natural beauty and a thriving cultural scene. Kunkletown cabins and Kunkletown house rentals are a quaint springboard to a whole lot of vacationing goodness. In Kunkletown, you are right in the middle of a lot of natural wonders, with a pretty short drive to some of the mid-size city culture that isn't so overwhelming as you might find in a huge urban area.

Not Too Far from the Lake

Kunkletown cabins will give you a local's eye view of the town. You're only about fifteen miles drive away from a 2,900 acre state park called Beltzville. Beltzville Lake has over nineteen miles of shoreline, so crowding is never a problem. If you like swimming, fishing, or just want to rent a canoe and paddle around, you have plenty of space to do so on. They even have speed boats available if you like a little thrill on the water. The best part is, Beltzville State Park has miles of great hiking trails you can explore, and most tourists have never even heard of it.

Not Completely in the Woods

You actually can have too much serenity. Sometimes you want to take in some local culture. At less than twenty miles from Allentown, Kunkletown house rentals will let you take in a lot of city life. From the Allentown Art Museum to America on Wheels (where you can see Mack trucks, muscle cars, and soap box derby cars), you can do as much here for your and mind and your children's as you can for your body on the trails. Whether you love the outdoors or indoors, Kunkletown lets you have it all.
