  • Wonderful stay!

"We spent a weekend at the Rustic Ranch Retreat and had a wonderul time. The owner, Sonia was extremely helpful and responsive to all of my questions. The house is perfect for a group (we had 9) and we found everything to be tidy and well thought out. Some of the group went skiing at Jack Frost/Big Boulder which wasnt too far away. The hot tub outside the house was wonderful and it was actually snowing while we in it. Thanks so much to Sonia for providing us a wonderful getaway!"

  • Wonderful Experience!!!!!

"We stayed as a group of 15 for 3 nights. Property is easy to get to, in a quiet area. Owner is easy to communicate with, and goes above and beyond to make sure that you have a wonderful stay. Beds are very comfortable. We already have multiple other family member and friends who are interested in coming here. I would definitely recommend this property, and can't wait to come back again."

  • Awesome Labor Day Vacation

"I have rented homes in the Poconos for family vacations and getaways in the past. This property was by far the best one to date. This year, 12 members of our family decided to get away for the long Labor Day weekend. I knew I was dealing with a professional owner when Claudia responded very quickly to my requests for more information via email, phone calls, and texts. She usually responded within minutes and answered all my questions. I feel like the photos do not do this house justice. Upon arrival and entering the front door the family was excited because the house was so clean, updated, and spacious. The layout worked for everyone as we had 12 people. There were a couple of surprises such as toys for the dogs and spices in the kitchen just in case you did not bring with you. We made good use of the kitchen for breakfasts and dinners. We also used the barbecue grill out on the deck. The kids spent alot of time in the basement playing games and using the pool/hockey table. In summation, I wholeheartedly recommend this house and the owner. She has clearly put alot of love into this property and has outstanding customer service skills! Thank you for everything Claudia! See you again soon!"

  • Great location

"Just left from ski weekend at Onalake home. Had a great time. Home was very clean and had everything you could need. Sometimes homes look better in pictures, this home was even better than the pictures. Location can't be beat. Extremely close to big boulder and Jack Frost ski mountain. Homeowners were extremely nice and very accommodating!!! I can see why they have several retuning guests!!!"

Kunkletown Travel Tips

Small Town Living in Kunkletown Cabins

There are so many great sights and experiences in the Kunkletown area, and Monroe County's Poconos vacation rentals offer you great home base for seeing it all. Kunkletown is a tiny little place that's near both natural beauty and a thriving cultural scene. Kunkletown cabins and Kunkletown house rentals are a quaint springboard to a whole lot of vacationing goodness. In Kunkletown, you are right in the middle of a lot of natural wonders, with a pretty short drive to some of the mid-size city culture that isn't so overwhelming as you might find in a huge urban area.

Not Too Far from the Lake

Kunkletown cabins will give you a local's eye view of the town. You're only about fifteen miles drive away from a 2,900 acre state park called Beltzville. Beltzville Lake has over nineteen miles of shoreline, so crowding is never a problem. If you like swimming, fishing, or just want to rent a canoe and paddle around, you have plenty of space to do so on. They even have speed boats available if you like a little thrill on the water. The best part is, Beltzville State Park has miles of great hiking trails you can explore, and most tourists have never even heard of it.

Not Completely in the Woods

You actually can have too much serenity. Sometimes you want to take in some local culture. At less than twenty miles from Allentown, Kunkletown house rentals will let you take in a lot of city life. From the Allentown Art Museum to America on Wheels (where you can see Mack trucks, muscle cars, and soap box derby cars), you can do as much here for your and mind and your children's as you can for your body on the trails. Whether you love the outdoors or indoors, Kunkletown lets you have it all.
