  • Great stay!!

"Stayed for the weekend and had a amazing time. The house was very clean and the perfect size for 5 couples. The way everything was clean and well stocked really made you feel at home. The lake was very clean to swim and stocked with fish. We caught so many nice size fish right from the sick. In addition, the security provided by the development made you feel very safe, despite being out in the wilderness. Ty Eleanor for a pleasant stay. We will be back next year!"

  • A Real Delight

"My extended family of 12 adults and 6 grandchildren (including three infants) stayed at this beautiful home for 4 nights. There was plenty of room for all of us. The view of the lake from the home's large windows, and from the deck, was magnificent. The lake was a short walk out back. The amenities of the Hideout community, including sandy beach, two pools, club house, etc., all nearby, made it a real vacation. The owner and manager were great to deal with. They answered all of our questions and were very attentive to our needs. This is a place to which we would love to return to."

  • Location location location

"My family and I just spent a week at this home and it was really great. The house itself could use a little TLC but what you're really paying for is the location. Lake front, personal dock, 3 boats, & less then a 5 minute walk to the beach and pool. THAT is where you're money is going with this rental. If you're looking for luxury this is not the place but if you're looking for an incredible family vacation I absolutely recommend it. The one and only downside on the location is this is a motor boat lake. Really cool to watch at first but by the end of the week, when they're on the lake by 7:30 a.m., not so much. All in all this was one of our best vacations ever."

  • Very Enjoyable House

"Perfect size house. Well maintained and furnished nicely. The layout was great, and the game room in the basement was a lot of fun for the kids (and us parents). The fireplace warms the whole house and it was cozy and comfortable. Community ski hill with skiing, tubing, and ice skated is located less than a 1/2 mile from the house. NOT the owners fault that we couldn't use it because it was unseasonably warm temperatures during our stay, so I couldn't possibly take away a star for the fact that we didn't get to enjoy that. But now that it's cold out and they made snow, if you have kids and want to do snow activities but not deal with the huge, expensive resorts, I would highly recommend this house. As I mentioned, we weren't able to use it, so we went horseback riding instead --- less than a 10 minute drive from the house, and the kids had a good time. So there is plenty of stuff to do, winter or summer. And if you just want to lounge around and not do much of anything at all (which we also did) the house is a great atmosphere to just relax. Lastly, the owner, Jeff, is a very nice guy. Considerate, attentive, and very easy to work with. We will probably rent the house again in the summer."
