Great relaxing house
"We stayed for a 4-night long weekend at this place. We did a list of activities in the area, but ended up staying inside the house most of the time, as it was really convenient, cozy, and warm. The house is big, contains many rooms, including a kids' room with games and two sets of double bunk beds; our 3 years old stayed in that room for a good chunk of the trip; the rest she spent in the patio, painting on the picnic table. The living room is really nice -- big and comfortable, containing a fire place and couches. But the best was the kitchen and dining area; there's nothing you can't find in the kitchen (we even made pizza) and the dining area is really spacious.
Lastly, the owner is great. Not only she provided all the information beforehand, and the place was definitely spotless when we arrived, she also helped us after we forgot one of our bags when checking out. Kudos."

"Although we had a rainy Saturday for our girls' weekend, we were cozy and warm by the gas fireplace. We looked longingly through the french doors at the lake which was the perfect location for kayaking. The owner was most helpful and prompt with her replies. The area was lovely and we enjoyed walking on Sunday which turned out to be a beautiful day."

"Wonderful relaxed home with a deck, fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful lake a very short walk - just through the backyard. We kayaked with the owners boats, relaxed and played on the beach, swam in the lake, pitched horseshoes in the backyard, and grilled family dinners together on the deck. At night the lake is practically our very own. We watched the Perseid meteor shower - beautiful shooting stars everywhere in the night sky.
Rainy days - not a problem. We went swimming indoors at the Clubhouse, took a couple pilates classes, and worked out at the gym. Yoga on the beach at Deertrail lake was so yummy this year, and the big slide at the Clubhouse outdoor pool was a blast.
We loved it. Our kids loved it. Our grandkids loved it. Can't wait to go back next year."
