  • Spacious, well kept, and full of amenities!!

"We had a group of 11 people and there was plenty of room for us all. Very spacious house and very well stocked. Kitchen had everything we needed and more; pots, pans, blender, waffle maker, utensils, etc. We planned multiple outdoor activities but it was difficult getting people out of the house because of all the things to do inside! The gameroom was fantastic! Overall, the house is very well maintained; the owners clearly paid attention to detail. Sara was great to work with and we are looking forward to renting from her again!!"

  • What an amazing place to stay!

"My family had a wonderful time this weekend at your house. There was so much for us to do that we barely left the community . We went to the bonfire on Saturday night and it was so fun. The kids can't wait to do it again. The house had everything that we needed and it felt like home away from home. The kids enjoyed all the pools and the beaches, they even fished a little but sadly didn't catch anything. Thank you so much for working with us at the very last minute to book, the process went so smoothly. We really enjoyed this little get away before school starts and we're back to the grind again. I made sure to leave the house exactly as we found it and I even put all the towels in the washing machine for the cleaning lady to make it easier for her. We hope to get to stay at your house again in the future. Thank you again!"

  • Better than expected!

"We rented Jean's place just last week 8/9-16 and had a wonderful time. All the positive reviews were spot on, the pictures don't do the chalet justice, and we were blown away with our welcome basket! I chose Jean's chalet as I was bringing my parents and sister up from Texas for a week to spend with our 2 year old son as it's easier to bring them up than travel with our son. The chalet has one bedroom on the 1st floor, a master on the second, and two bedrooms (including bunk) on the third floor so it was perfect for our arrangement - everyone had their own floor and bathroom. The chalet was very clean, even by my mom's standards, and the hot tub water was changed before we arrived. Arrowhead Lake's amenities were very nice and exceeded our expectations. Despite it being a very cool summer (didn't get above 72 during our stay) the pools were a comfortable temperature as they all have a solar heating system. The community also had various evening events during the summer though we only went to bingo, which was a riot. This was the first time I've ever played 'real' bingo and we had a blast with the older folks that were at our table. I have absolutely no negative comments about the chalet or the community and hope to own a place of my own there in the next few years. Until then, I'll be renting Jean's place!"

  • Awesome summer vacation house!

"This is our 3rd year at the lake. But, the first in this house. We are proud to say this has been our best trip so far! With 8 kids ranging from 3-14, everyone had a blast. Fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boat, corn hole down by the dock (brought our own), walks to the ice cream shop & a bubble bath in bathing suits in the jet tub for the smaller kids! We found ALL of the other people using docks to be VERY friendly. We shared bait with a neighbor and got invited to go tubing by another. The house is very clean, well stocked with everything you could need & we loved the layout. With such large group in the house, we weren't "on top of each other" when everyone was inside. We called about the grill not functioning properly and it was fixed within hours of the call. We were very impressed. If considering a trip, I recommend: taking a trip to Boulder Field & hike to water fall on Hawk Falls trail, get wings from Boulder View (call ahead!), visit Nicks Lake house on Sunday afternoon for live music and cocktails, & buy your groceries at Aharts but your meat from Hazle Park. Stay in this house! (But shop around for linens) We are already talking about our 2015 trip! Thank you so much Ellyn!!"

Milford house rentals offer furnished accommodations that are like going on vacation while taking your home along for the ride. You are immersed in a vacation destination, but you still have all of those homey comforts with you whenever they are wanted or needed.
