  • Perfect family getaway for Christmas

"We wanted to get away this Christmas, but we wanted a cozy place where we could open presents by the fire on Christmas morning, make breakfast and enjoy outdoor winter fun. With three adults and four kids ages 8 - 12, this cottage suited us perfectly! Pros: --Beautiful property with a dramatic waterfall just a 10 minute walk away. Sledding/tubing would have also been available if the weather had permitted and the owners provide the tubes! --Very private feel with wooded views off the back deck --With four energetic kids, the downstairs game room is absolutely priceless. Foosball, ping-pong, and air hockey in a kid-proof space. Imagine enjoying a glass of wine by the fire while the kids can be as loud as they want and are completely entertained without electronic devices! --Kitchen was perfectly functionally and stocked with basic tools for feeding a family --Bedrooms are spacious --These cabins were clearly built by someone who cared and wasn't just looking to make a quick buck. --The owner as well as the staff were friendly and accommodating. The owner even brought over a pre-lit Christmas tree to make our cabin more festive! Cons The only con is that the cabin we rented had two upstairs bedrooms that shared a bathroom with a claw footed tub with a faucet and a telephone style wand (no shower stall or curtain). The shower is on the game room level, so if you're a shower-type, you'll need to go down two levels. We really didn't feel inconvenienced at all since we're all family, but some people might be a little shy about sharing this space. To sum it up, we had a wonderful, memorable stay and plan to return!"

  • Cabin in The Woods

"We took our two young boys here for a winter weekend and they had a fantastic time. The house was spacious, clean and fully equipped with games and entertainment and the wood stove was heavenly. We went for a long hike in the nearby Gouldsboro State Park and swam in the indoor pool. It was a pity a lot of the local amenities were closed but it was between seasons. I would definitely return here either in the summer or winter season when everything is open."

  • Perfect!!

"My family and I had a wonderful stay. There were 9 of us and every single one of us slept comfotably. The house has everything you need and more. It was clean and cozy. The location is perfect. It's right next to Camel Beach waterpark. It's so close that we came back to the house for lunch and went right back to the park. We spent most of our time playing pool, grilling and watching movies. We also used the community pool and had a blast. We did paintball which was five minutes away. The owner Ron was great, it was a last minute trip and he worked with us, was flexible with the time we could arrive and time we could leave. One of my cousin's forgot his keys and Ron was nice enough to mail them to us. We had a wonderful stay and plan on going back again. We highly recommend this rental."

  • Relaxing Away From It ALL

"The house and location are really something to behold if you like nature. It is you and nature and nothing else - even your car stays on the other side of the brook. The living room area is spacious and airy with beautiful views of the creek. You have the brook - to one side it's nice and calm hardly a ripple (except for the frogs jumping around). To the other side a babbling creek through the thick forest. The house itself lends to the environment, decorated to add a touch more to the experience. Closed in porch for relaxing, chairs down by the water around the fire pit - even more relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom/kitchen were basic but all functioned without an issue. All that and it's only 5-7 minutes out of Milford and not far from all that the Delaware Water Gap has to offer."
