"Nine of us spent a week at "The Dugout." The bedroom set up was perfect for 2 families. The home had everything we needed - even a pancake griddle. Aside from a trip to the local store for more coffee and ice cream, we didn't leave. There was plenty of space for all of us to be together, but also room for each of us to find a quiet spot to be alone. We started each morning with coffee on the deck and ended each evening around the fire pit. The water trampoline is a must - it kept 5 kids (ages 9-12) happy and entertained for hours on end. It was a lovely way to end the summer."

"This house was so charming -- we thoroughly enjoyed our month-long stay. It is spacious and beautifully furnished - nice overstuffed couches and chairs - great for our family playing games, reading and watching movies together. It is elevated and the outdoor porch gives you the feeling of being in a treehouse. My son walked the dog along the wooded path behind the house to Paise Pond every day, looking for stray golf balls. It is also close to paths to Margaret's Falls, Red Rock and the big Falls. The owners were so kind and accomodating - we will go back again!"

Great for skiing trip for a family or group of friends
"The description was very accurate and the owner was helpful and responsive. The space is relatively inexpensive and good for groups of friends or a family going skiing. Really easy to get to the slopes. Comfortable and cozy."

"We had a great stay in this slopeside townhouse. Check in was easy and the townhouse had everything we needed. There was a nice welcome note and a bottle of wine on the table to greet us! Our boys enjoyed having a tv in their room even though they fell asleep very quickly after skiing and swimming. The pool and sauna were great to be able to use. Since it was a holiday weekend the mountain was very crowded but being able to walk to the slope was perfect. We had our two younger boys with us and they were not comfortable beginning on slopeside/middle of the mountain. Since it was a holiday weekend and parking was crazy my husband would drop off the boys and I at the base, go back to the village (2 minutes away) and park at the townhouse. He and our older son would ski down and meet up with us. At lunch he would take the lift back up and it would drop him off directly across from where the town house is. Sometimes he would take a different lift to the very top and ski 1/2 way down, hop in the car and pick us up. It was great to be able to go back for lunch, hang out, & warm up in our own space instead of on the slope and spending $$ for lunch & dinner. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer. I would dry the kids gloves and snow pants before going back out again. Barley Creek Brewing Company is right down the road. Good wings and beer! Other restaurants and grocery store are within 10 minutes. Only two minor complaints....the tv in the loft was not hooked up and we couldn't figure it out. The other is that the pots & pans in the kitchen could be updated. We had a great time & look forward to going back next year!
Thank you Lorraine for an easy getaway!"
