  • Great house... Best time!!

"We rented this house for ski getaway with three families a total of 12 people for the New Year's week. The house was perfect! It had everything we needed.. The view from the deck is amazing!! We skied at Blue Mountain and it was just under a half an hour from the ski resort which was great. There are other ski resorts even closer. Everyone had such a great time! Nancy and Jack were just a pleasure to deal with.. We would definitely rent this house again!!!"

  • Wonderful way to spend a week...

"Nine of us spent a week at "The Dugout." The bedroom set up was perfect for 2 families. The home had everything we needed - even a pancake griddle. Aside from a trip to the local store for more coffee and ice cream, we didn't leave. There was plenty of space for all of us to be together, but also room for each of us to find a quiet spot to be alone. We started each morning with coffee on the deck and ended each evening around the fire pit. The water trampoline is a must - it kept 5 kids (ages 9-12) happy and entertained for hours on end. It was a lovely way to end the summer."

  • beautiful house! Excellent stay!

"We stayed at this house along with a few other families for a winter ski vacation. The house is so beautiful and perfectly maintained. We could not have asked for a better place. We got rainy weather and didn't mind at all because we were having so much fun! We hope to make this trip a tradition and rent this house every year. Dave and Sue were so helpful. Great people to work with! Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

Stroudsburg Travel Tips

Enjoy a Getaway in one of the Stroudsburg Cabins

If you're hoping to get away to Stroudsburg cabins, then you'll appreciate all the amenities your cabin has to offer. Whether it's a fireplace for those cozy evenings, a fully equipped kitchen for creating nice family dinners, or a hot tub for romantic nights, it's all a step above what you'd find in a confined hotel room. Choose among Stroudsburg house rentals a place that truly can be your vacation home, not just a place to stay for a few nights. Another advantage of Poconos vacation rentals is location. These properties make it easy to take in the beauty of nature. You can enjoy hiking, fishing, and wildlife watching from many Stroudsburg house rentals.

Area Activities in the Poconos

For the outdoor enthusiast, renting a cabin in the Poconos lets you enjoy a day of skiing at Shawnee or Camelback. Taking the kids to the nearby indoor water park, theme park, or animal park is also an option. For the adults, you can check out Mount Airy Casino or spend the day at Deerfield Spa. If shopping is your passion, then spend the day at Crossings Factory Outlet. After a long day of excitement, then you can head on over to Gracie's Place for some great food and live jazz, blues, and comedy entertainment.

The History and Culture

Although history and culture surround you while staying in Stroudsburg cabins, you may want to venture out to experience more of what the Poconos has to offer. You can take a ride on one of the first steam trains ever to ride the rails or view the Driebe Freight Station and Art Gallery. Other great tours for culture lovers include taking a stroll back in time at Quiet Valley, a living historical farm.
