  • wonderful experience at Lake Henry

"We were impressed at the clean cottage, tastefully furnished, and perfectly located on the lake. Owners have planted flowers everywhere. We enjoyed the kayak and paddle boat, and the huge hot tub by the lake, that was almost a small swimming pool! During our week we witnessed some incredible sunsets. Weather was great. Met Bill and Michele at the cottage and found them to be very amiable and helpful. Also appreciated their straight forward and brief contract. Photos of the lake house on VRBO were accurate, and we can not find any reason for disappointment, although could not log on to their Wi-Fi, which was not encrypted, but required a password. Unusual. However 3G wireless reception worked great to an AT&T cell site with the mobile phone and iPad, so no problem. Anyway, we did not go to the lake to spend time on the computer."

  • Very nice place.

"We rent long term and yearly. This was the second time we stayed in this condo, and both times it was very clean and comfortable. We stay in the summer, and rarely have to turn the air conditioning on. There's a nice breeze that comes through, and the condo itself stays cool with little effort. It is about a ten minute drive down the mountain to the grocery store and a couple of restaurants if we feel like going out for a bite."

  • Great Place to Stay!

"An excellent place to stay. Accommodations were as advertised, a beautiful home in a beautiful area of the Poconos and plenty of room for everyone. The owners put a lot of thought into this house and you can tell they care about their guests by all the little things you often do not get at most rentals such as hand towels and soap in each bathroom, plenty of dish detergent and trash bags, two coffee pots, comfortable beds and furniture, plenty of pillows, etc. Would definitely return and absolutely recommend it as a place to stay in the Poconos."

  • Wonderful Get A Way

"My family loved this beautiful mountain home. We had everything we needed right at hand. The boys enjoyed playing pool while we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The place was clean, freshly painted, and new furniture. We are planning to return for a ski weekend in January. Thanks Tony for all your websites and tips."

Stroudsburg Travel Tips

Enjoy a Getaway in one of the Stroudsburg Cabins

If you're hoping to get away to Stroudsburg cabins, then you'll appreciate all the amenities your cabin has to offer. Whether it's a fireplace for those cozy evenings, a fully equipped kitchen for creating nice family dinners, or a hot tub for romantic nights, it's all a step above what you'd find in a confined hotel room. Choose among Stroudsburg house rentals a place that truly can be your vacation home, not just a place to stay for a few nights. Another advantage of Poconos vacation rentals is location. These properties make it easy to take in the beauty of nature. You can enjoy hiking, fishing, and wildlife watching from many Stroudsburg house rentals.

Area Activities in the Poconos

For the outdoor enthusiast, renting a cabin in the Poconos lets you enjoy a day of skiing at Shawnee or Camelback. Taking the kids to the nearby indoor water park, theme park, or animal park is also an option. For the adults, you can check out Mount Airy Casino or spend the day at Deerfield Spa. If shopping is your passion, then spend the day at Crossings Factory Outlet. After a long day of excitement, then you can head on over to Gracie's Place for some great food and live jazz, blues, and comedy entertainment.

The History and Culture

Although history and culture surround you while staying in Stroudsburg cabins, you may want to venture out to experience more of what the Poconos has to offer. You can take a ride on one of the first steam trains ever to ride the rails or view the Driebe Freight Station and Art Gallery. Other great tours for culture lovers include taking a stroll back in time at Quiet Valley, a living historical farm.
